Naseir Upshur releases Top 8 (No UM)

Its not his fault, Staff dropped the ball on him. he is still going to OV here but as it looks right now. its a free trip

I thought he was our #1 Target?? Smh...why would they slip like that

he is not just a blocker. every major school wants him. tried to tell you guys, if they offered dj moore, they both would have come but instead they wanted to chase after Terrell Chatman because he once made a one handed catch yet showed he didnt want to come here. Pop is really like Michigan from what i hear. Real talk, if a coach like Butch Davis takes over, we got a shot. i dont think he is sold on this staff, never was. he hasn't tweeted about UM in a long time and stopped retweeting um stuff.

Pursuing a talent of Chatman's caliber was smart because he's a stud. Where the staff messed up was that they failed to close, which is unacceptable.

And you've said constantly that D.J. Moore and Upshur would have been some sort of package deal, but what are the chances that Upshur actually ends up at Maryland (where Moore signed)? They're in his current Top 8, but what does that matter? This package deal talk sounds like BS.

Chatman made it clear for at least the last month he wasnt coming here. Miami would have been his best offer. he is an under the radar kid who abused Micah Fitzpatrick at a camp. the same coach who told me Jaelan Strong was the real deal spoke highly of him. BTW, USC and Arizona st have a shot at him because Gerald Bowman who was USC starting safety last year and jaelan strong went to his HS.

also, David Williams a South Carolina rb who has had injuries problems went to his high school. this kids all look up to the older kids.

temple is not actually looked down on anymore by these kids. there was actually a time kids would turn them down to go I-AA to hofstra, delaware or villanova.

This is why I can't follow recruiting. I have to imagine there was some misinformation being spread here.

i think Mich is the fav. he doesnt seem to have any interest in playing in the south. Bama was on him fairly early. It's either going to be a midwest school or a school on a coast. Mich, Oh st., Arizona St, usc.

another issue that pops up. these kids go to meet harbaugh, saban,, meyer, etc and they are blown away. a kid from philly just views golden as "the former temple coach" he hasn't won at miami so thats what they see him as

Going through the process with Shavar other schools recruit harder or work harder then Miami does for these recruits

Thats actually good to hear, I am glad they aren't wasting too much of their time on someone we have no shot at.
