To be fair our Dline don’t really sell the holds all that much especially Bain, dude is getting held every other play n he just plays thru it lol..refs aren’t going to call it for us otherwise..we literally gave up 7 points to VT off a 4th down where Mesidor was being held like a newborn baby to the point where the announcers were forced to call it out smh

Run defense is 6th despite not having great LB play. It was actually 2nd until the vt game last week
 
In most games (except maybe ND) we are the team with the talent advantage and other teams need to take advantage of things like turnovers/penalties/trick plays etc to beat us. I think with this game it is different and Narduzzi realizes it, we are going to have to hit on the trick plays force turnovers etc to have a chance.

Matter of fact, last year was the first year Mario ever beat an ACC team that finished with a winning conference record. Both Duke and Louisville finished 5-3 in conference last year.

Point being, Mario better have these guys ready to play like a big OOC game and not another lazy ACC game.

Does it count that we smoked one of those bottom dwellers that beat two of the top 5 of the division?
 
I expect this game to go down to the wire. Mario doesn't know what a killer instinct is and if he thinks a slim margin of victory will help us then he is sadly mistaken. We need to try to score on every possession and not let up until the final whistle. You can be certain that Narduzzi will have his team prepared to do battle.

Found it interesting Dawson said he has never gone up against Narduzzi, remember prior coaches saying if we have single coverage and they are blitzing we will be very aggressive and make them pay.. Lets see what we do..

Also listening to Narduzzi presser besides saying he wants to get more pressure, found it interesting he said even though he is defensive coach he doesnt tell his offense to slow down or anything like that, allows them to go uptempo. Meanwhile our HC is supposed to be a offensive coach and he slows us down to crawl..

I can't understand the words you put down due to a lack of proper syntax and punctuation. I'm not trying to go cyber-nerd on you. I truly cannot decipher what you wrote, especially the first line. This probably explains why I questioned your original comment about the front four. Were you referring to the play at the line of scrimmage on BOTH sides of the ball? Front Four typicaly means the four down linemen on the defensive side of the ball. I think there are several places to point at on the team way before you point at the defensive line. That doesn't mean the D line is perfect. It does mean that you could point at Mario, Dawson, The O line, Beck, the LBs, the run blocking and the run scheme and have much more to complain about. That was the point I was trying to make.
