In a matter of a couple of days they managed to fire their pretty successful head coach and hire an up and coming head coach on most teams radar.

Meanwhile Miami twiddles their thumbs with circulating headlines stating Manny on cusp of returning!

The decision making of this athletic program is baffling. Hopefully it changes. Soon

He doesn’t run a super exotic scheme. Not an X&O guru. But he does call the offense at Lafayette. It’s a solid scheme similar to the Alabama and Clemson RPO stuff.

He’s mostly a recruiter that will probably field a strong staff. I don’t think he’s gonna give them any crazy schematic advantage like Kiffin would or like Mullen was doing at times.

Napier is a good coach who will be going to a bad situation.

He’ll recruit well & turn them into a good running team, but they’re not gonna scare anybody in the SEC.

UF is sliding down to the middle of the pack, once Heupel gets his QB at Tenn it’s over for them, UF will be an afterthought in the East. Mizzou, Tenn & South Carolina all have a better trajectory than UF.

And they better hope they reshuffle the divisions once Texas & Oklahoma get to the SEC, or else they’re really gonna get squeezed out & begin the long march into the desert of perennial mediocrity.
