Schiano: Contacts, connections, well respected in coaching circles and national media. Could walk into any recruits house In the country with credentials, I think he'd recruit well and coach a well rounded team here. Also would immediately have the respect of the cane family such as the current staffers, players and former players. Has the contacts To put together a solid coaching staff here and Could also bring Butch on board to his staff if Butch isn't hired as the head guy.

Cristobal: Head coaching record isn't strong but has the best chance to lock up the so called state of Miami as opposed to the other candidates. Recruits the area well, knows the high school coaches, well respected recruiter with sec contacts and experience now, Miami needs to run its program like its in the sec, something fsu and clemson does and it's a big reason for their success. Worked under one of the best coaches in football so I'd like to think he learned and picked up on a few things. I think he could turn it around with the right staff hires on defense and have it rolling in Miami. He will get a head job soon, why not at Miami where he knows everything about the program.

i remember hearing big 5 star recruits say if we hired Butch they would sign with UM , he wold lock down south florida, imagine what our team would look like if we had him, Ridley , Cook , ect
