Problem would be, it's Manny's defense. Unless Manny is comfortable with a DC putting his own defense in (and any DC worth a **** would insist on installing his own defense, I would) , you're going to have to put in a guy that will run Diaz's defense his way.

The scheme is Manny's. Baker runs it extraordinarily poor, especially with all the delayed blitzes that don't have a prayer.

Yeah I wouldn’t be surprised if he got a MAC or Conf-USA level head coaching job. If not, I would absolutely look at Freeman.

But honestly Brad Lambert at Marshall has done some amazing things. HC at Charlotte for a while so this is not some unproven young coach. He would be my top choice and as good as it gets in my opinion.

I’d also be interested to learn more about UAB’s DC - David Reeves

yes and not sure who I would want at DC. We don’t spend big money on that side of the ball and wouldn’t be surprised if manny gave Banda the job. Then reworked the surrounding pieces.

Baker will be back if we go back to giving up the points we have been the majority of the season.

If not, so far he's upgraded all his bad hires so we'll see.

Miami gave up like 6 yards in the 4th quarter I saw online. Something changed in the 4th.

It should be the guy from Cincy but Baker will be here next year. Diaz had the quick hand on offense but for some reason he lets the defensive coaches do whatever they want...even if it's half the job not being done. That means one **** thing imo.... everything on defense gets approved by him.
