Name 5 schools

U all remember when Butch Davis was not happy at halftime, he so broke the chalkboard at the half. we got back on the field and took care of business. i know it was against Rutgers but we killed them. Thats what i want back. I miss it.

Good ones...Vanderbilt & Rutgers are literally stealing Conference & TV money.

And the only school I can think of as a replacement is North Dakota St., maybe put them in the B10 and kick Rutgers out?

What about Wake Forest and Oregon State??

Honest answer is you get rid of select P5 and add some G5. Teams like Tulane, Wake, Northwestern, Eastern Michigan, etc., really have no business playing D1 football. If you haven't sniffed a ring in 60 years, it's time to try something else. And yes I'm sure there will be some "but actually" dude who says Tulane went 12-1 in 2002 or something like that. Just examples.

even worst 1998

I'd say a college team could do vibrant business in Wittier, Alaska. There would be a significant homefield advantage, and during late season games opponents would literally shatter in the cold.

As much as I hate ND could you imagine Miami just landing all the top talent in Fl, Ga, and AL and then playing ND every year. I would enjoy that raping more than never playing them.

Beating them is great fun. I was at the Catholic v Convicts game in South Bend. It is the only place that came close to the OB— but it needed Jesus to just get close.

That must have been awesome to watch. I love seeing them get their teeth kicked in.

Well that is the game the refs stole from us but it was great being there. I’m Catholic and sat next to a Nun during the game. I saw one of the shirts and I apologized to her,”Sister, I’m so sorry about that shirt. Some mean Cane fan is making fun of your team, calling the Irish convicts like that.”

She looked at me and said, “we’re the Catholics you silly young man.” Well Miami had like 11 starters that year who were Catholics so I said,”on no, Sister. We have about a dozen Catholics starting the game. You only have 5, I think. So you must be the convicts”. She hit me with her umbrella.

Twelve years of Catholic school left me with a deep love of Nuns and Brothers so I just laugh and thank her for making me feel young again. We were friends by the end of the game. I flew her down to Miami for the game the next year and sat with her. I had 50 years line seats, although I usually sat in the west. Hill caught that pass right in front of us. She hit me again before I could even make a smart comment. We should play every year.
