N’Kosi Starts Next Weekend

Might be worst thing possible if he does play Jarren and he plays well. Then he can fall back on that and think everything is peachy. I don't think we lose at home.

Wishful thinking. Mork will start Maweak. He already started floating the bs idea that we still have a shot at the Coastal. He’s going to continue to say the delusional Maweak “gives us the best shot at a win” Yada yada yada

This.

Perry is suspended... he was only In uniform in case rosie got hurt..

It was obvious because rosie played an absolute terrible game and never yanked him

Although I agree with you. When's the last time Rosier had a good game outside of Toledo?

Putting aside the feeble "still win the Coastal" argument, is developing your less experienced talent ever a reason in college football to not start those with the "best chance of winning"? I know in NFL or other pro sports, "rebuilding" sometimes takes priority - or maybe getting the better draft pick.

But as long as there is a premium for winning with the BOT (bowl game, W-L record, bonuses) - I don't see Richt "starting" anyone but Malik as long as "HE" thinks it furthers the possibility of a win. I wish it weren't the case, but have doubts this stubbornness or "correctness" will be overcome.

That would leave us pretty bleak at QB as Weldon is likely to catch terminal pink eye before next season.
Weldon and Perry are dead men walking. Will be booted from the team after the last miserable game, leaving us with one effing QB to start next season. Of course, they'll bring in some JAG from somewhere, and will end up suffering through him after the Gators destroy Williams.

What home crowd? Don’t expect a crowd after two dismal performances

LMAO , I thinking same thing, the game should be played at Tropical Park .

They’ll announce 50K ( paid season tickets) even if 15K ( Gate) shows up maybe.

I don’t understand how long time posters here just don’t see it. Done, zip, zero, nada, dismissed. Not playing!!
Being a long time poster does not make them automatically qualify as being smart and knowledgeable about the Canes. On the contrary, I think the majority of the posters you are referring to are some of the worse posters on this forum.

Unfortunately, I believe Richt will trot Rosier out again next week. Writing is on the wall with Perry. I think he’ll be asked to pack his bags after the season.

So you’re saying there’s a chance that someone else starts?

Lol but seriously, I get it. We as fans want Perry/Weldon/Williams to develop, but if Richt thinks Maturity is our best shot to win games...Then it is what it is. Like you said, it is about winning and losing for someone in his position. He definitely won’t sacrifice games to develop players. If that’s case, Perry will probably transfer, as Maturity will probably play out the rest of the year as the starter. Williams will probably see some time during the end of the year, and Cade will probably also transfer in my opinion.

I don’t have expectations of Richt turning around and ripping up his playbook and adding a better more dynamic version in the middle of the year. Or to consider a new OC until the year ends... if that’s the direction they end up going. But I think next year, will be a make a break year for Richt’s coaching career at Miami.
