People pretty much know about Corch Mork's career as a football coach. But how many people know anything about his career as a Miami QB ?
Well.... let's take a very revealing look.
Mork played from 1979-1982 and here are his career stats as a QB

Completions - 103
Attempts - 229
PCT. - 45 %
Yards - 1431
Yds per attempt - 6.2
TDs - 9
INTs - 17

So is it fair to say that a guy that had virtually NO SUCCESS as a college QB can also not be expected to be an offensive guru calling plays, creating winning game plans, and successfully developing championship caliber young QBs ?

Also by looking at Richt's career stats as a QB, it solves the mystery why he seems to be addicted to a very mediocre QB like Rosier.
When he sees Rosie on the field, its like looking at himself.

So much for knowing the playbook.... looks like he wasn't reading the defense too well either. .... wonder if that is a lifelong impediment...

Bill Belicheat and Nick Saban were All-American football players in college, weren’t they? I think Mike Leach was a great college QB, too. That’s why his offenses always put up big numbers.

Both shlt QBs. He's living vicariously though Malik. Backup QB giving a backup QB the chance to be the starter at the U. Unfortunately we don't have a Jim Kelly to prevent all of this.
