I feel you, fam(). However, lemme go over a few parts of your post. You gotta remember this when it comes to Mali and others like him from down here. They are THE predominant body type when it comes to SoFla WRs and even Florida WRs to a lesser extent. The 5'8"-5'11", 150-195 lb. 4.2-4.7,4.8/40, shifty with a knack for the spectacular. We even get 'em in Hispanic or ****** on occasion. That **** grows like citrus down here.

From afar, they mostly look the same. There's gonna be bias on a case by case basis from some due to personal connection or general affinity, but most people know the separators that'll either yield a Baby Jesus or an Antonio Callaway.

Sometimes you know a jit is a ****head, but you hope the light comes on. Sometimes you're sure the athleticism on the college level will be too much for a kid, but you hope for the best.

Everyone who knew about Mali knew he was gonna be at least something like he is. Again, the surprise came in the fact that it happened from the figurative coin toss.

As far as JoJo goes, that jit ain't regular. It just didn't work out here. Maybe the change of scenery works out in his favor, maybe it doesn't. Concentration was his issue here, not talent. Whatever the root of said issue was or is, I ain't gonna speculate. In comparison, I never saw a special talent with a cat like Ray Ray Joseph. JoJo was doing things that Ray Ray couldn't against waaaaaay better competition.

If the entire population of quality NFL running backs with multiple years of production and experience cannot be paid above the #3 overall pick (regardless of position), it is a pretty good indictment of how the NFL has devalued RBs.

Mario does a good job recruiting the right body type 3 stars... some of them hit like Moten. You bring in 10 body type and hit on 3 or more everything works out.

I agree. But for me society is in my surroundings. I keep a very small circle and I rarely venture out of it. My life has been chaotic to say the least and I'm at a point in life after football that I'm comfortable enough to do with my days and my surroundings what I choose. The stupidity on here is endless and it's annoying.

As an ancillary to this point about RB value, this year’s NFL draft had the fewest RB’s drafted in history. 2 in the 1st round, and only 13 overall.
Other than the Eagles with Saquon, when was the last time an NFL team won the Super Bowl with a very high paid RB? Certainly not KC.
The formula has not worked for the 49ers despite McCaffrey.
