Wiltfong said he could move his Rivals Prediction from Missouri to Miami for....Myson Johnson-Cook if things go well this weekend. I fully agree.
It's the mentality Mario brings too. We bullied OSU. that is a team of 5 star recruits. Sonny Styles didn't miss a tackle all year and Fletcher took his heart. You can't be soft and play for Mario.1000% thats why I was excited about the hire two weeks before it, I was all Freeze but was wrong. Until two weeks before dug a little and looked at what Mario did and was all in. I knew that he would bring us back to this level, it didn;t look that way when I saw the second and third recruiting classes. But man I shouldn;t have doubted. I think we made a mistake at first along with other programs not taking the portal serious, and it was a blessing in disguise cause if everyone operated the way they do now FSU would have a new HC and Norvell wouldn't have gotten that contract. So our slip up allowed FSU to get the best in the portal and it killed their program.
When Mario adapted it was over and it takes Mario one year to adapt. Once he does you can forget about it. I overlooked the portal big time. Did not think it would have great players in there but it does. Your right we have our Jo Pa and our slip up that one portal cycle actually killed FSU's program.
if Jimmy J stays at Miami, Canes have 3-4 more Natties without question.Miami winning four national titles in a 9 year stretch with 3 separate coaches is one of the all-time greatt achievements in American sports history that nobody talks about. It will never be done again, it was a complete anamoly
Where Miami could've really been more sustained is if Howard, Jimmy or Butch would've stuck around longer
I truly think in Mario, we finally have our Bowden, JoePa, Osbourne, etc.
My brother has been a firefighter on MFD since ‘98. That town is full of Polk High grad types. I’ve never so many people stuck in high school in their 30s.
Jimmy was simply the best coach in football at the time he left UM; high school, college or pro. There was literally no limit to what UM would have been under Jimmy. I think he would have been better than Saban because;if Jimmy J stays at Miami, Canes have 3-4 more Natties without question.
I also think if Butch stays, he would've had 2-3 more.
Between those two, you're talking about potentially having upwards of 10 Natties

Don’t be surprised if I log a Rivals Prediction for Miami to land Top 100 East St. Louis (Ill.) High running back Myson Johnson-Cook coming out of this weekend’s event
He’s the best fit for our system I seen iin 3 , 4 years . Fletcher replacementThis the dude I’ll get really fkin hyped for if he ends up in the class. Day one contributor.
Saban is a great comp if Jimmy had stayed in the college game. Not sure who is the better coach or talent evaluator. Both deserve their praise.Jimmy was simply the best coach in football at the time he left UM; high school, college or pro. There was literally no limit to what UM would have been under Jimmy. I think he would have been better than Saban because;
1. He’s a better coach than Saban and better talent evaluator as evidenced by what they respectively did in the NFL (Culpepper in free agency over Brees!?!?)
2. The players respected/feared and loved Jimmy. Saban was never loved.
3. Jimmy was selling the city of Miami, and not Tuscaloosa.

Brees literally had shoulder surgery on his throwing arm. That's not the hill to die on talking about Sabans talent acquisitions.
