Exactly this OL is built for that. He would kill it here. Those types keep the linebackers honest and if they have a bad DL it’s curtains with a big back and a great qb. He just saw what Fletcher did, this is a back that would play year 1 imo.
Any rb with any type of ability will geed here for sure . That has to attractive let’s go look at Riley who decided to take off to Alabama compared to sticking with us . Decision making in some of these kids make you scratch your head . That dumb *** that went to Texas will get destroyed watch

Don’t ever mention that name here again
Speaking of the Lingawd, I see he had an ok final year at Akron. Did absolutely nothing here and at UiF. I do wonder why he busted so hard. But Myson is a totally different body type. Myson could be considerably less fast and still good, like a Javien Mallory. His size-speed combo is ridiculous. Like Derrick Henry or Fletcher with afterburners. There are not many dudes like Myson.

Lingard had those chicken legs, and was not quick enough laterally.

Nah that wasn’t why. He lacked vision. He ran out of the wing T in HS and that hindered his game. Had everything you need in a back, but vision& awareness. In HS they just gave him the ball and said run. Didn’t teach him the game. **** shame! Hate when coaches don’t prepare guys for the next level

Faster Mark Fletcher is a good comp. the only other close UM comp is James Stewart. Was 6-3, 225 coming out of HS and was the 100M champ in HS (10.5/10.6, IIRC). Dude was a beast.

Nah
When you go back he had no wiggle and when he did make a move he lost a major step where defenders caught up. He had to play with an elite OL so his speed can be benefitted. He ran to upright as well.

I was super high on him but it’s a typical miss eval from the services. It will happen again. We miss and they miss and it shows the services used the elite schools to evaluate at the time. They do it now, anyone we look at they have to look at twice. It’s the Saban effect and Mario earned it as did Nick.

I agree wing T did not benefit him but when you have to do more in a different scheme it showed his weaknesses. He had to do more in a different offense and he wasn’t that dude.

I think it was both. He didn't have good vision and he was also too skinny in the lower body (pause).
