My " WE Want Mike Leach" Banner

Are you off your meds again?

That's the response of someone who finally realizes that he got curb-stomped.

Not really. It's legitimate concern about your mental health. You're showing signs of mania in your delusional compulsion towards self-congratulations. I generally don't spend this much time corresponding with the clinically insane.

That's just awful. Middle school lunch table kind of stuff.

Haha. Pills. Take them

AD's set schedules and they are typically 5 to 8 years set in advance. Specifically OOC games. I don't believe HC's have much to say about it.

Ill probably fly it for the FSU game. Want to see how that issh looks in person.

Hey BigDik, you may want to re-think your Mike Leach banner idea. His unstoppable offense put up a whopping 13 points last night to ***king Nevada. He definitely isn't the answer.

LMAO the Leach cult just had their Tebow-cut-by-the-Jets moment! Guy is a clown always was and his cult is even more clueless about football than Tebow's army was.

The joy of wagering against Mike Leach. The only problem is it's normally not exactly challenging.

Antwan makes excellent points. I posted lengthy similar threads on several Rivals sites for years. Mike Leach is the ultimate fraud. His conference winning percentage was virtually identical to Spike Dykes'. They were only fractionally apart. Leach softened his non-conference slate to such laughable degree that Texas Tech would rack up several gimme wins to begin the season with one or two breathers staggered later in the year. You had to be a simpleton not to realize what was going on. In Dykes' tenure Texas Tech played home and home series with major conference bigshots. Leach inherited that type of scheduling but quickly altered it. There were Texas Tech posters on Rivals several years ago who were not shy about conceding as much in the related threads, and many of them insisted that Leach made the push for the cupcake scheduling.

BTW, in my Fury of Anti-Revenge (FAR) post last week I didn't have time to name some of the great examples during my 25 seasons betting that trend. One of my absolute favorites was picking on Mike Leach. This was early in his tenure when he was still stuck playing competent non-conference teams. Texas Tech hosted North Carolina State in 2002. Philip Rivers was a junior. Texas Tech was a small favorite at home but trailed badly for most of the game. Texas Tech rallied in the 4th quarter but lost in overtime. After the game Texas Tech whined about the poor start and several Tech players said they were the better team and wanted revenge. Once I saw that the two teams would indeed meet again the following season at North Carolina State, I couldn't wait for the Fury of Anti-Revenge. Sure enough, North Carolina State blasted Texas Tech from the outset in the rematch. It was my largest bet of that season and the FAR advantage played out perfectly in the first half. North Carolina State shut out Leach's flimsy offense in the first half and led 21-0. I forget the final score but the margin continued to mount, even though the Wolfpack naturally lost the defensive intensity that FAR enables in the first half.

Let me guess what's coming:

"Have you ever been to Pullman, Washington?"
"Did you see how bad WSU was when he got there?"
"He would still put up 40 against Louisville with our talent!"

Perhaps he's getting old and tired... like Butch. But there's no taking away what he accomplished at Tech. Go ahead, chalk up the fact that he beat Stoops's Sooners 3 of the last 5 times they met and knocked off #1 Texas, etc. to a soft schedule all you want, the fact of the matter is he was the best thing to ever happen to the Tech program. I'm not the one suggesting a banner over No Life begging for Leach (though he certainly would be an improvement over Golden, tired and all); in fact, I stated my preferece would be for someone like Leavitt at Miami. I only chimed in because the obsessive Leach bashing is over the top and unjustified. Go celebrate the Nevada win, but please take your pills.

It's okay to be vulnerable and admit that you were wrong.

There you go again with your delusional thoughts, Craig.

Deflection by insult doesn't cause everyone else in this thread to see how badly you were abused. Since 2000, which is 15 football seasons, you've pointed out like four big wins. Myself and some others dismantled his career by explaining to you what was really going on in the other 90 wins. But you don't want to hear it.

Bob Stoops would disagree with you, but you probably think he's overrated too. Pills.
