My " WE Want Mike Leach" Banner

Mike Leach? At Miami? Naw not a good fit. especially recruiting wise. He's a weirdo, I don't think he will relate with the kids down here.

**** it, I'm all in on Butch too. Fly the butch banner, if the University isn't going to do it anyways we might as well take a stand

Yes, let's get the guy who doesn't even care about defense. Golden at least gives a ****. He's just not competent to run a good defensive system.

Lubbock man, Lubbock. It's more Oklahoma/New Mexico than Texas. Had no reputation as a football school before Leach.

That's where you lose all credibility. Spike Dykes took them to five bowls in seven years before Leach took over. PMiami's talente played a more difficult non-conference schedule than Leach. Don't comment on TT's history if you're just going to guess.

Haha, that's funny. Spike averaged 6 wins per year in his 13 years there, and after joining the big 12, he had two 6-6 seasons and two 7-5 seasons (a real juggernaut). Leach is a legend there (to everyone not named James), even compared to Spike. Further, Leach would've pasted 40+ on Patrino on Monday night with Miami's talent, and his D would've been vastly better than NoD's-- and that's not even debatable.

You know how a black belt has to warn the little punk in the bar who is picking the fight? That's what I've tried to do with you. I will stomp you on the Mike Leach debate, yet you keep coming back for more.

The first thing Mike Leach did when he got to Lubbock was to dumb down the OOC schedule. Spike Dykes played Arizona State, Tennessee, Georgia, Penn State, NC State, Oregon, Ohio State, Miami, Arizona, and Florida State. A typical Mike Leach OOC schedule: Eastern Washington, Nevada, SMU, UMass (2008), or SMU, UTEP, Rice, Northwestern State (2007).

Here's the formula that seems to evade you:
1. Take the team that Spike Dykes left (6-5)
2. Drop the tough OOC game and play Rice, add one win (7-4)
3. The NCAA adds a 12th game, which for Leach would be a Northwestern State or Indiana State (8-4)

And there you have it. Mike Leach's exact average record, 8-4. So the big leap he made in the season record was 1000% due to schedule manipulation.

Mike Leach's average Big 12 conference record: 4.7 - 3.3
Spike Dykes average Big 12 conference record: 4.75 - 3.25

So Leach absolutely held serve in the conference. No improvement whatsoever. Why do you think he's a legend? Because he put up 70 against Sam Houston State every September. That's the depth of your research.

"Leach would've pasted 40+ Monday night" and "his D would've been vastly better"......that's a good move on your part, since you fall on your face when we talk about facts. Stick to things that can't be proven, that way we can't point out that you're wrong on literally everything. But, of course, Mike Leach didn't put up 40 on Monday night because he can't get a job at any school that has any pride whatsoever. So you and the other Leach fans can talk about what he WOULD HAVE done while he's losing at home to Rutgers in a game that no one watched.

Ok, Craig James. How would Miami have fared at Auburn last year? And how long would Petrino have kept 9 in the box Monday night with Leach on the sideline?

So you're going to stick with the speculation. Good call. We can't prove any of it, and that's the only thing that keeps you in the game.

It's funny that you're stuck on one game. No comment on any of the blowouts that Mike Leach suffered against teams that were a lot worse than Auburn? Did he forget how to coach in the home game against 7-6 Oregon State? That's the Mike Leach we're trying to tell you about.

No comment on any of the facts that sent you down in flames. Wouldn't want to be exposed any further, I see.

BTW, dumb dumb, Spike is the one who started playing a cream puff nonconcerence schedule four years before Leach got there. Why? Because they joined the Big 12. That's when they started playing the North Texases and Louisiana Lafayettes. Fact is that Leach had them finishing in the top 25 consistently and Spike did not. How many times did Spike knock off a #1 ranked team? Didn't think so.

As for now, what is Leach in, his 2nd or 3rd year at WSU? You act like he took over for Chip Kelly.

There is such a simple answer to our woes, Butch Davis. We would be in the ACC championship game in 2015 if he is hired in January

Ugh, I feel for you. You're dying a death of a thousand cuts and don't even know it.

I already listed the teams that Spike Dykes played against. In Dykes' FOURTH year in the Big 12 they played at Arizona State. Leach eliminated that one tough OOC game. That gave him an extra win. Add the extra game on the schedule and now we have 8 win seasons. Just enough to creep into the top 25, which is another staple of a typical Leach season.

Dykes never beat a #1 team? Okay. Did he ever get blown out by 2-10 Colorado? Facts, bruh. Get to know them.

Leach is at Washington State. And it is his third year. One would think that such a legendary, cutting-edge genius could get a third year program ready for a home game against a Rutgers team coming off a 6-7 record.

Perhaps cause you guys aren't on the west coast you haven't caught many Washington state games. I liked the leach idea four years ago.

not now. Not at all. He's not Petrino like in that regard. Time has come and gone, not impressed with what I see from his staff.

One game vs Arizona State, that's what you've got? The one Spike lost 31-13? Yes, the schedule dropped ASU the following year under Leach, but then they added nonconference games against Iowa, Clemson, and Ohio State. Your arguments are laughable.

What Leach did in two years at WSU is enough for me.. **** he got lane kiffin fired and got wsu to their first bowl game in 10 years...

My personal preference would be someone like Jim Leavitt, but even the Leach haters out there must admit, Leach would be a substantial upgrade over Golden.

The one game at Arizona State shreds your theory that Dykes stopped playing tough OOC games when they joined the Big 12. That one was too easy, and you still don't realize how badly you were owned.

The OOC games in the first few years under Leach were already on the schedule. Guess which coach scheduled those. The one who YOU claimed dropped the tough games when they joined the Big 12. Why don't you look at 2004 and beyond, when Leach had control of the schedule.

My arguments are "laughable" only because you're not a very smart person. If you and I shared the same level of rational thought, I would volunteer to be kidnapped by ISIS so they could off me.
