My Thoughts On EA Sports College Football 27 Dynasty Mode

For anyone who has played dynasty in the new game, any idea how much extra time it takes compared to last year for stuff aside from the actual games? The new things make the game more realistic, but it's a negative for me. I don't want to spend time on things other than games. In 25 and 26, recruiting can be done pretty fast and nothing else is really necessary.

(Some haven't discovered the cheat codes for some of these games. And if you ain't cheating - you ain't trying.)

I don't even know what this "Dynasty" scenario refers to - but it must be something critical to national security level stuff. There was a TV series about a Dynasty . . .

Yeah these **** whipper snappers and their computer games. Why don't they go outside and play real football like we did back in our day? At least geezers like us don't have to yell at kids to stay off our lawn anymore.

I’m only in week 10 of season 1 (ND bout to catch that fade). The recruiting itself isn’t too much longer with NIL. Setting up and understanding facilities and support staff takes some time but will probably become pretty easy after some experience.

If you’re at a small broke school I’d imagine it can be very time consuming.

EA had the right idea but like with all things EA, execution needs some work.

The game feels a lot more competitive against the computer. The QB sneak timing is a really good piece to add to the game. NO MORE GUARANTEES. The computer feels 10 times more smarter than last year's game. The NIL deals help Miami stick out from others; I'm currently throwing a big bag at a 6-foot-5, 330-pound five-star inside offensive lineman, who I'm currently leading for.

Overall the dynasty is so much more deeper, from the game to the dynasty menu, EA Sports did their thing on this one. Heck, the crew even added a Heisman ceremony at the end of the season.

I love this game. What are your thoughts on dynasty?

Dynasty is literally broken (adding the NIL element without proper beta testing leads to some terrible, game breaking results in Dynasty) and needs more than one update, Breeze and on top of it, microtransactions to access basic functionality and settings in single player game modes also help break Dynasty.

Terrible review.
 
Microtransactions in a single player mode is a deal killer...150 years to max out your coach in dynasty without microtransactions. If you have PC, someone will come along and mod the game. Console guys, good luck...

What does this mean?
 
The transition from microtransactions into offline play should be the final straw for the gaming community. But it won't be, because people apparently find it okay that they have to spend six times the original price in order to 100% a game mode. I've already seen some comments in that direction and it's ******* wild. These people are genuinely addicted to this **** and find any sort of BS excuse.

And it's not only that: the usage of microtransactions is incentived by the removal of XP sliders that allow you to progress the game quicker AND you get less XP paid out if you then off the "Wear and Tear" setting. The game mode is literally designed to make it as difficult as possible if you don't pay.

It's EAs 4500th attempt to appear as the biggest ***** on the internet and they've succeeded for the 4500th time. It's a consistent theme with them and it'll keep happening unless people grow a pair and stop buying the ******* game.

And if people have a hard time understanding microtransactions, here's a (ironically perfectly accurate) video from South Park explaining microtransactions FROM ELEVEN YEARS AGO:

 
Refunded this game after I saw dynasty mode and RTG had microtransactions. Also after 5 years they said the best players on teams are punters and kickers. Someone simulated twenty years and forced all wins with 20 titles and his HC only had 48% of his skills unlocked lol. No thanks

And this had the best gameplay of all the cfb’s but all that were deal breakers for me

I'll get it if the modders in cfb modding discord find a work around to unlock all the things.

Hats off to you. I don’t have **** to play lately so I’m still gunna get it and enjoy dynasty without putting any extra money into it.

**** with that bread I just copped **** on sale like the whole Spiderman series and the new Assassins Creed Black Flag. I am so mad though man this is what I was looking forward to the most, I know the modders will fix it but EA will update it 100 times so those mods will break. I cant be a part of this type of ****ery, its tempting but I just cant sell out like that. Being a gamer I have some sort of rules, maybe I am old. My last hope is modders
