My Thoughts On EA Sports College Football 27 Dynasty Mode

Man, just played my first three dynasty games with realistic Heisman sliders with the Miami Hurricanes. I'm currently sitting at the No. 18 team in the country after losing to Wake Forest 38-25 on the road. I started out the season 2-0 beating Stanford 35-17 and FAMU 49-7.

The game feels a lot more competitive against the computer. The QB sneak timing is a really good piece to add to the game. NO MORE GUARANTEES. The computer feels 10 times more smarter than last year's game. The NIL deals help Miami stick out from others; I'm currently throwing a big bag at a 6-foot-5, 330-pound five-star inside offensive lineman, who I'm currently leading for.

Overall the dynasty is so much more deeper, from the game to the dynasty menu, EA Sports did their thing on this one. Heck, the crew even added a Heisman ceremony at the end of the season.

I love this game. What are your thoughts on dynasty?

I bought the game but haven't had a min of free time to actually play. Can't wait to see how the new dynasty is
 
Dynasty wise, it’s deeper than years before where it was just recruiting. Now with the dynasty points, you have to be selective into what’s a priority for you. Will it be recruiting, off season progression, etc. You also have to take the hit in other areas. So if I use my dynasty points to upgrade my facilities, do I have enough to pay elite coordinators? NIL too: if I throw a big bag at a recruit this offseason in recruiting, do I have enough to fill a need in the transfer portal? Far deeper than years past
 
To me, the game never lives up to the annual hype and this game plays just like all of the previous years. The blueprint and NIL stuff is nice.
 
Also, the non-NIL “Lou Hernandez”version of Mario Cristobal if you can call it that lol got a serious upgrade from last year, dude comes with a elite recruiter, talent, developer, and master motivator

Shannon Dawson is now master motivator along with architect

Corey Hederman is now an elite recruiter with talent developer

The HS QB Coleman is not in a game

What was Mario last year?
 
Yeah I am enjoying the timing catching and macros are game changers. I hope you saved some NIL though or your whole squad will transfer if they have good years.
 
I have the game, ive been playing my friends online that’s been talking smack. But Toney is unstoppable on the game btw. (JSmith, Lacey from ole miss, and Oregon has a wr with 99 speed, those 3 are cheat codes on the game)

Lots of freshman missing. Almost every freshmen has normal dev trait which is annoying. Cantwell has elite at least.

Was looking forward to seeing the WR group grow but they’ll all get passed up.

I’m excited to get it on Thursday. I saw people *****ing about the coaching levels and how you basically need to spend real $$$ to max your coach out across 30 years. I don’t really care too much about that but it is typical of EA.


There’s some good videos on YouTube about comparing the influence you get from recruiting hours vs NIL offer. Basically if you’re going to invest 2x the NIL offer then don’t stack hours and vise versa, you can sign a lower level player by pumping recruiting hours and not exceeding NIL, something like that.
