Pretty much. So what reason is there to expect any changes anytime soon.

Richt must also realize that future crocodile tears about game attendance will fall largely upon deaf ears.

That's for the internal politics of the situation to work through, which is beyond our pay grades.

That's why I've said the mess that comes about next year will be one that we've never seen before. The issues of the last four coaches are going to pale by comparison. At least Golden was burdened by Shapiro-gate. Richt has no excuse. Golden left with his tail tucked between his legs. I see it being even more egregious with Richt. He's not going to have many friends in Miami very soon.

I mean what do Wake Forest, Virginia, Pitt, or Duke fans think of their teams in the grand scheme of things? That's where we are until further notice. Richt's Canes aren't competitive with above-average P5 competition.

I agree as much as I disliked Golden I never felt this angry. I feel like Richt at this point is intentionally destroying the program.

The only leverage is the hope Richt cares about his legacy.

If not then he’ll go out like Charlie weis.

Honestly, I don't know if it is just Richt. I wonder about the administration from the AD on up (as other have said).

I said this to my Wife after I turned off the Wisky game. I turned off more games this year than ever because I saw a defense do everything they could to keep us in the game and the offense do nothing to help out (along with some really bad punting/special teams play).

I will admit that the punt return team seemed to improve as the season went along, but you can't expect them to constantly have big returns. Be thankful when they do.

Anyways, I'm with the OP, unless something is done (ie. Firings/a GOOD OC/QB/OL coach coming in/etc), and IMHO, done soon, I'm staying at arms length until we get a new coach and (hopefully) a new AD who gives a **** about sports.

The NBA (in 2004), MLB (strike in the 90s) and Dolphins (idiots running the show) lost me already. Just like other posters before me stated, UM football is the only sport I truly care about and its starting to fade away with the crap being put out on the field and absolutely NO excuse for it.
