Lost in the madness of our complete domination of the hated Gators, was the fact the officials let us play. They let both teams play. It was the cleanest football game I think I have ever witnessed. No stupid penalties. ****, hardly any at all. The refs didn't make any up, either.

If we get that treatment every week, we are winning the ACC, and possibly every game we play. Disciplined football wins games. Fair officiating lets disciplined football teams roll.

Never thought I'd head myself say it, but the ACC officials called a **** good game.

True story. Probably a combination of **** the SEC, and us being the conference darlings. You know, the good guys.

One of the best officiated games I’ve watched in a long time. There were some hold they could’ve called, which is always the case, both otherwise they let the play determine the game.

The personal fouls on UiF were a perfect example of us being rewarded for being a better coached team

We hit Mertz relentlessly but if you watch our collisions, they were with intent. You can’t go at the QB with your head up at their head. It’s that simple whether we like it as fans or not

We got our licks in but never got undisciplined about it (at least on the first watch)

Agreed. It was very enjoyable to watch.

There were a total of 4 penalties called the entire game. I can't remember watching a CFB game, especially not a Miami Hurricanes football game, where there were this few penalties. It's usually a minimum of ~6-7 total and when the refs really start smelling their own farts and want control closer to 12+ total.

It was nice and neither team really gave the refs a reason to throw flags. I thought UF got away with a couple holds on the OL. UF actually did get called for one hold, but it was on a failed 4th down, so we declined it. I also thought we got away with one PI and UF got away with one PI. Other than that, very clean game.

Only 2 penalties is just incredible especially considering the gator home field. Not 1 false start or stupid penalty.
