My Post Game Recap

Richt took out the four verticals and ran quick slants all day, you can’t make this up lol
It was unreal to watch. There was not a single different route combination. Everyone in the stadium knew where the ball was going on the pick thrown to JT

Redwine played a helluva game. There were multiple times if he didn't make the tackle it's a touchdown. The linebackers were nonexistent though, still kudos to Red has had improved a great deal at safety this year.

There was also another dropped INT in the 3rd or 4th quarter IIRC, hit the DB directly in his hands.

Rosey had a 39.1 QBR last night, a 42.7 QBR vs UVA & a 12.8 QBR vs LSU, in 3 out of 5 starts this season.

I've got $20 says Richt claims Rosier "gives us the best chance to win" at least once this week.

Offense:

Malik Rosier - 18/35 149yds 51.4%cmp 1TD 2INT's, 14att 71yds
Travis Homer - 13att 40yds, 4rec 46yds
Deejay Dallas - 9att 30yds 1TD
Brevin Jordan - 7rec 37yds
Jeff Thomas - 4rec 31yds
Darrell Langham - 2rec 30yds 1TD

Offense gained 304yds total offense, 8/17 on 3rd down, with only 28:24 time of possession.

Offense had 2 good drives early on, nice TD by Langham & on the Deejay TD nice blocks from Homer & Brevin.

Rosier was Rosier, started off hitting a few passes, but once BC took away the easy throws & forced him to do more he did was he always does. I'm not even mad Malik just isn't a good QB, never has been & never will be, he shouldn't be starting in year 3 but that's not up to him. Even with that said, I hope he stays the starter the rest of the season, that's what Richt deserves, he made this mess, he needs to lay in.

OL was awful, time to get Seashells the FOH.

I don't have much to say, it's been said all week, this Offense is just terrible & if we ever plan on being anything more than barely just a Coastal contender Richt has to be forced to give this Offense up or else we're fcked in the long term.

Defense:
- Sheldrick Redwine 14tcks 1PD
- Michael Pinckney 10tcks 0.5TFL's
- Jaquan Johnson 0.5TFL's
- Shaquille Quarterman 9tcks 1TFL
- Zach McCloud 8tcks 1.5TFL's
- Jonathan Garvin 7tcks 1TFL 0.5sack
- Trajan Bandy 6tcks 2PD's
- Scott Patchan 6tcks
- Pat Bethel 6tcks 1TFL, 0.5sack
- Michael Jackson 5tcks
- Gerald Willis 3tcks 1TFL
- Romeo Finley 3tcks 1TFL, 1INT
- Joe Jackson 3tcks 0.5TFL

Defense gave up 426yds total & 216yds rushing, BC was 6/18 on 3rd down & 2/2 on 4th down, with only 1 sack.

Defense got gashed from the very beginning, came out completely unprepared for BC's off balanced attack in the pass game & got the ball stuffed down their throat against the run. Gave up **** near 280yds in the 1st half, didn't stand a chance all game long.

The DLine got no pass rush & we couldn't get any TFL's like we usually do. This team pretty much thrives off early Defensive Turnovers & TFL's, when we can't get pressure we get steamrolled.

Disappointing performance all the way around, Bandy, Rome Finely & Redwine made a few plays, but everyone else just didn't show up to play.

Overall, this team looked completely lifeless, it seems like they've checked out & are not responding to the Coaches. The Coaches cannot get these boys motivated at all, there's no fire & no intensity at all.

It appears that Richt has lost the locker room, there's absolutely no way this team goes on a run & finishes strong. Another 4 game losing streak is on the horizon, this season is spiraling out of control.

Still support my Canes to the fullest, but this sh*t is just tragic. All I know is, if Richt gets beat by UF next year, the clock will be ticking that much faster, extension or not, the heat will intensify to white hot if we fck around & get beat by UF.

Rest of the season I'll watch every game, but have no expectations of anything good whatsoever. 7-5 & is how it's looking Smfh, **** shame.

It isn't a matter of ... " if CMR gets beat by Florida next September. " Miami will ABSOLUTELY get thrashed by mighty Florida akin to what mighty LSU did to CMR! No ifs, buts or get the " F " outta' the Johnny Rebel deep south, troll!

Just had a flashback...

I still can't believe he Onside kicked it vs UVA.

Desperate moments call for futile desperate measures. Again, I said CMR was SPITTING in Manuel's face ( Metaphorically speaking. ) when he called for that desperate act, but all I got was the thumbs down, or " F " you and all that. Go figure.
The bottom line: is CMR didn't trust the defense to get a " three and out! " So now there's turmoil in the locker room and on the practice field. OUCH!

I think going from 10-2 to 6-6/7-5 would definitley lead to some changes. There's no way business, as usual, could go on. Golden had the benefit of the doubt with the sanctions (at least before 2013), and there are 0 excuses for our team to suck this bad. Only way Richt could somehow make the argument with Admin (and I think this is a BS argument) is if we win out and finish the entire season 10-3. That isn't gonna happen though. The way we're playing, we could realistically finish 5-7. It's that bad.

Golden had the benefit of the doubt? *** him. He didn't have chit ands he should have been fired after his first year. Dude was trash. It's attitudes like this that lead to the bs you see on the field.

A season of promise was exposed as fraudulent in Big D. All the games since are nothing more than early spring practice.

With two games out (face it Miami IS NOT a bowl record eligible lock at this point), play Perry/Weldon/Williams and see whats there under live game conditions.

Hope springs eternal (literally) April 2019.
