My Post Game recap

OP, looks like your usual great write up but this game has me so discussed and then so happy that I don't want to think about it to hard. I'm focused on finishing a bottle of 12 yr old Macallan and enjoying how heartbroken all those craphead noles feel now.

I agree with you, Hartley is a phenomenal TE's coach & recruiter, he should just coach TE's.

Richt would've done himself a favor using that 10th assistant position by hiring a full time ST's coach, but that's a thread for another day lol.

Any win over FSU is a great one, and this was two in a row. They ripped our hearts out enough this last decade, it was nice to return the favor... Twice.

For all those who claim rivalry games don't matter, I recall Al Golden teams holding leads against Jimbo just enough to make us sick.

I will say this, the lack of short to intermediate passing is killing us, especially when it was clear neither running consistently nor having the time to go down field were happening. The lack of simple creativity on offense is torture. Creativity and complexity are different things. No reason. None.
 
This is ******* why I've been wanting Perry the entire time. Even when he's got a Completion% as *** as Rosier ALWAYS was, he gets 4 TDs no INTs and ******* leads us to a 21 unanswered pt comeback win.

By far our worst performing unit. We need a true special teams coach. Leave Hartley to TE's and recruiting, because he is 100% &hitting the bed with special teams.

This was his first start against a big-time opponent and the #1 rival. It's understandable that nerves affected his early play. As he gains experience, his will remain cool and hit the wide-open receivers that he missed in the 1st half.
 
I got some major questions about richt after this game

those 3 straight runs down 27-7 were... if I were in the stands that man would have had a water bottle or beer launched his way

there's no excusing that crap. We came out SO conservative it still turns my stomach as I sit here drunk at 3 am

man we should have lit these fcks up, perry throws a strike on 4th down early on and you continue to... run on 1st down?

that's all mark does, they're flat out pinning their ears back on 1st down every series because they know **** WE KNOW what is coming

Fspoo fans get to feel the heartbreak us canes felt always losing to them by 3 or less points when we used to dominate the first half with some of the worst coached teams in canes history..poor them😂😂
 
Our run scheme is really terrible though..all we do is zone run teams know exactly where it’s going..when will we run some misdirection to use the defense aggressiveness against them

can you tell me about our punt returns and kickoff returns. they seemed above average to me. making a change to a 2 man punt returners was brilliant and caused confusion on the FSU cover players.. you are cherry picking plays that can't be fixed. you can't fix shanked punts and players who just won't say in they cover lanes. get out from behind your keyboard
