Side note wtf is going on with these refs man . Bullsht penalties called on us . Missed holding calls . **** has been going on for awhile now I was at the Toledo game and we were getting held on those QB runs too

Nope. the INT was on Him...it's not wise to throw the ball into the seams vs a Quarter Safety. It's the same thing He did vs FIU, except Harley bailed em' out. The few times I've seen Him come off His 1st read, He's either thrown it into double coverage, or thrown an INT like He did tonight.
 
Im not saying bench Shaq or anything like that but is it me or is everytime Mike Smith is in the game we stuff the run better? It appears that way to me

One thing I’ve learned about FSU is that no matter what the talent disparity, it will usually be a tough game. I don’t see this any different tbh

Where’s the arrogance and disrespect come from? Don’t get it. Really despise them. Of course they still mock the chain even though they were getting blown out.

Never, ever, ever, ever sleep on FSU. That’s your first mistake.

Records and talent don’t matter in this game. They will be ready...talent or Taggart aside. Heck we were pushing those Jameis led teams to the limit with Al Golden! Let that sink in!

You best believe that game will be a dogfight.
 
I liked the way we played for the most part.
Only thing I will add is the same thing I said last week. I like the I formation and want to see more of it. (Not only in short yardage and redzone.)
I also want to see Lo and Cam get some carries but other than that there's really not much to complain about.

Defensively we finally cashed in on some TOs. It was fantastic to see
Loved the stat that was mentioned about us not losing a game since 2009 when scoring a Defensive TD. Hopefully we score on D every game from now on.
 
lol usually after a game we're *****ing about the offense's ability to stay on he field and give the defense a rest. Last night, defense was on the field the whole game and it was their own **** fault.

Deejay was at 10.4ypc, both he & Homer had some really nice runs.

Imo they're one of the best 1/2 punches in the ACC & they're such great compliments to one another style.

I still would love to see Lingard get a touch or two early in a game, even if it's just a screen play, I just wanna see that kid an opportunity out in open space.

I thought he should have been playing(lingard) especially at the end of the 3rd or in the 4th

Agree, at the end of the day the ACC is a Carolina league and they protect the 5 teams from there. I have come to accept it and we must play knowing that at least two calls will be made to help them.

I know there is a whole thread on it but I still want to bring up the fact we had to call a timeout after a defensive td just to give our defense a break....

Here is what you are forgetting...dont matter how good/great your talent is..when coaching holds you back you are phucked. Our program should be experts when it comes to this theory! We had a 10 year run of irrelevancy and horrible seasons and still are in the top 5 for most players in the NFL.

Golden and Shannons horrible coaching held our talent back. Prepare yourself to witness that first hand on next Saturday when Taggert totally $hits the bed and we win convincegly. (sp?) All the talent in the world cant make up for the fact that he and that DC are in way over their hands here.

I like the idea of some sort of call where we get him with a quick pass in isolation in the flat. The kind of play where if executed properly, it’s either a no gain tackle, or one juke and a straight sprint 75 yd TD.
 
Thriller has been a shutdown CB. Teams be afraid throw on him. The out route was a play where the DB CAN'T make a play on the ball without getting DPI. It was a great throw and a great route.
