My Post Game recap

Still don’t need to have both Cager and langham on the field at the same time though, they don’t create enough seperation consistently for me
I agree with that, I wanna see Hightower, Pope, NJoku & Wiggins get more snaps with the 1st team offense.

I know in 2016 & 2017 they actually had top 10 recruiting classes, but a lot of those prospects were highly overrated & haven't performed well at all.

I think they may have landed some high rated prospects, but none of them were on the OL & they haven't had a good WR since the Jameis era.

I think it's mainly been Coaching for them this season, Taggart doesn't seem to have the ability to motivate a locker room full of "me-first" type players that really haven't bought into a team concept. From what I've seen, they play like they just don't care like they could give a f*ck about winning or losing lol.

They give up quick & have no heart. That's why I think we should beat them big time this year, they not ready for War bruh. You can see it when once they get down by a score or two, they just tuck it in like "Fck this, time to go home!".
I agree they are bytch made and we better crush them. They don’t have any lack of talent excuses either.

Rosier doing well against soft zone coverage means diddly squat to me. It's not that its Toledo. It's the scheme. No way he plays the same against man coverage as he has yet to show he can. toledo made it easy for him. corners playing 8+ yards off the wrs all game. Anything less than 62% is horrendous. We don't have to bash him, true.

We also don't need to praise him or give him any props.

But isn't this Miami? The real Miami didn't boast about these throwaway victories. JMO.

News flash it’s not the 80s or the 90s. In case you just woke up from your Crio-Freeze. We’ve been trash for a decade and now in college football it’s all about style points whenever you can get them. Talent is spread out everywhere and we shouldn’t take any FBS opponent for granted.

Is it time to consider moving Joe Jackson to the strong side and playing Garvin back to the weakside? Jackson is stronger and better against the run. Garvin is the natural pass rusher. Saw Garvin get washed down the line of scrimmage during run plays a few times. Shaq was exposed several times on passing downs. Was surprised he was in instead of Pinckney.

I don't disagree with that, I just don't want to bash him after a 5TD performance even if it was against Toledo.

Trust me, I'm not a Rosier Defender by any means, I spent all offseason stating how I feel about how bad he is, but he's still gonna be our QB until he plays awful again.

We'll see how he looks vs UNC, FSU & BC etc., and I'll be the first to let'em have it if he plays bad vs them.

I feel what you're saying, but if FSU is a dogfight then there's something really wrong with this team.

I know it's a rivalry game & rivalry games are usually close, but we've blown out much better FSU teams in the past.

They have a god awful OL, even worse than ours & they simply don't have the talent at the skill positions to be an effective Offense. Their WR's are garbage, they have no TE play (LOL & McKitty's dumbass) & all they have is Cam Akers.

Their Defense is extremely overrated, their Corners couldn't cover an empty wheelchair in an old folks home. They lost a ton of talent on their DLine & they don't have a dynamic Ramsey type that can make plays.

We should beat them handily this year, especially @ home in The Rock. Idc who's the starting QB, we should steamroll FSU if our team comes to play. The Defense better be ready to hunt that night, I really hope Diaz doesn't let Francis pick us apart.

Frenchie might need that empty wheelchair you speak of if that OLine keeps getting him crushed ever week....

Good writeup. Why some "fans" criticize others who are happy to celebrate a W is beyod me.

But there's no way FSU lays down for us. We beat them under Shannon and were leading in the 2nd half multiple times under Golden, when Jimbo was working with Top 5 teams. I expect the same in reverse. Maybe if we hit em hard in the first half, they fold their empty hand. But most likely they'll see our bid and raise us up until the last series like always.

I don't think they're gonna lay down, but my point is we have enough to make them lay down.

They're really awful this year, like even worse than last year & we should kill'em this year. FSU & UNC are hands down the worst teams in the ACC no exaggeration.

I just hope we drop 40+ on'em because there a team that quits once they get down by 2 scores.

You could certainly nitpick this game quite a bit, but this team is a work in progress and confidence is a component in a teams success. Today they got some of that confidence back and I'm going to leave it at that.

Something lost on some is that Toledo won the MAC and is a decent G5 team. Very well coached and expected to win the MAC again this year.

Should we blow out G5's? Absolutely! But Toledo is far from SSU and we put 49 on them and won by 25.

Actually, this is a team that had 3 bad coaching hires in a row and had no bowl wins between 2007 and 2015. A team that up until last November had never played in a conference championship game. A team that in 2011 made national news with an NCAA scandal and only as recently as 2016 came out of probation. It's a team that won its 5th National Title as recently as 15 and a half years ago. How about we have a few prominent seasons before acting like we should blow off any wins.
