My Post game recap

The reason why I think we're better off as a Spread Option team is because it puts less stress on the OL to hold blocks for long pass plays, plus the uptempo pace opens up running lanes because Defenses have to sell out to Defend the passing attack over the middle.

Dave Aranda said based on the film they watched on us all offseason leading up to the game is that we have no intermediate passing game, it's either Deep balls or RPO. Based on how we performed offensively, it's safe to say they figured us out, they basically knew every time what we were doing.

Our biggest issue in the run game is blocking, but it's also lack of variety, we run the same run plays in the same sequences over & over, that only works when you have a dominant OL that can bully DL's. We obviously don't, so to supplement that you have to keep the Defense from keying in on your run plays.

What the Lincoln Riley's, Scott Frost', Josh Heupel's, Mike Norvell's, Chad Morris's, Sterlin Gilbert's, etc, do is attack teams with quickly executed plays changing up the sequence every other series so Defenses can't pick up on the patterns. Defenses get caught off guard & get run into a buzzsaw, that's what Cuse did when they upset Clemson, they just hit the ground running 100mph from the first snap & relentlessly attacked Clemson's Defense with pace. They don't have one player on their entire Offense better than any Clem defender.

Yes we definitely need better blocking there's no denying that, but we don't do anything to help them out. The QB, RB's, OL's, TE's & WR's are not being put in the best position to maximize their ability, our deficiencies became more glaring when everything we're doing is telegraphed. We don't have the personnel to line up & stuff down anyone's throat, so the alternative is to use our speed at the skill position keep Defenses off balance, what's the best way to do that? Spread.
Good explanation. Can’t argue with this.

We sit here with a rb coach as an oc who doesn't call plays or install the offense with our hc calling plays he ran at fsu in 1990 while Kendall briles is at Houston and we won't even kick the tires to see if he will come.

Pretty sad that Richt's supposed complex and complicated offense is also very predictable.

It's kind of contradictory isn't it?

I understand a lot of you will not like it, I'm fine with that, feel free to disagree.

No, I don't think the sky is falling, but got damnit man I'm tired of this sh*t smh.
Nah man you are spot on start to finish. A lot of luck made some corches look decent enough and with all the talent on the field the only thing missing is a scheme that actually benefits our team on O and D. And for the love of god a ST coach please
