"Overall, this was the best game we've played all year hands down! This is Miami Football, fast, physical & ****ed off!"

Great stuff!!

".....a Tiger skin rug would look nice in the Winter."

Great stuff, my friend! The entire write up was spot on, but the above line took the cake!

Amazing that the team is playing so well just Year 2 into Richt's reign. Truly amazing and the staff deserves major props for the job they have done to date - which by the way, the media will so conveniently ignore. Just wait until our 2017 guys develop in the off season and we add the 2018 talent into the mix. The Richt train is just getting rolling.

Agreed, LCE. Both sides of the ball played their best games of the season. That Defense was downright ferocious. I saw plays where the ND WRs were literally afraid of what was coming to them once they caught the football. We are intimidating teams again.

The Offense took advantage of almost every single opportunity presented. No INTs or turnovers. And give Richt credit -- His play calling was great. Good mix of run and pass, and the plays were not vanilla, predictable plays. Love that call to go for it on 4th down. Shows that we have balls!

Hats off to the OLine. Those boys handled that ND Defense all game.

First game of the year that i can grade the performance an A. Now, let's get the 2nd strings some PT with UVA and Pitt so that the starters are at full strength for Clemson. Ol' Dabo knows that the Canes are back, and he's very concerned.

Love what Richt is building.

Travis Homer is making a case for one of the best rbs in the country. Brian Kelly said in his post game interview that Homer accelerates and hits the whole faster than any other rb theyve played against.

And Deejay Dallas.. he is the ultimate x factor. He knows how to score in the red zone and has this elite ability to make ppl miss and run through tackles without needing a lot of space.

The way Richts offense rotates players and formations it's **** near impossible to stop. That with the best defense n the country we are winning the ACC and playing in the national championship game this fckn year!! :rickflair2:

Deejay has nose for endzone. He is the solution to our red zone problems and needs to get the calls down there.

The best performance by the Offensive Line all year! Not a single sack was giving up, 0 penalties & hardly any pressure from Notre Dame's Defense. This O Line has stepped up big time in the 2 biggest games of the season & played their best Football when it mattered the most.

Rosier played solid & did exactly what he's supposed to do, protect the ball & use his legs in the run game. The offense is at its best when Rosier isn't putting too much on his shoulders, he doesn't have to be Baker Mayfield out there for us to win, just don't turn the ball over and make some clutch runs & throws when we need it.

Travis Homer played phenomenal! Literally had 108yds in the 3rd quarter alone off just 7 carries!! He really helped us salt the game away & keep Notre Dame's spirit crushed. Whenever your team is pounding the rock at a high rate it completely demoralizes Defenses, especially weak *** Defenses like ND's. Homer has absolutely been one of the best backs we've seen in recent school history & the most explosive since Lamar Miller. He runs angry, fast & ferocious! Easily the best back in the ACC.

Deejay Dallas... MATCHUP NIGHTMARE! Congrats to him for getting his first 2TD's on the season, really loved the way Coach Richt has been utilizing this kid. Last year, I was calling him a Natural Born Cane, he was 100% committed & recruiting for us the entire time, there wasn't a kid so bought in since Duke. He's a great Football player, doesn't matter where you put'em on the field, QB, WR, RB, **** he could play DB if we needed him too & he would excel there as well. Great kid, great player & great Cane!

Great catch by Cager on the 4th & 9, even better call by Richt. Loved the aggressive call of going for it on 4th & 9, it showed we really wanted to destroy ND & keep our foot on their neck! And everybody that kept saying Cager was going to leave because he's not getting the ball... Welp, maybe stop throwing guys in the graveyard so fast lol

Defense: Held Notre Dame to just 109yds rushing, 261yds total & forced 4 Turnovers.
Wimbush was just 10/21 119yds 1TD & 2INT's, and the other QB Book was just 3/6 33yds & 1INT

- Jaquan Johnson 8tcks 1TFL 1INT
- RJ McIntosh 6tcks .05TFL
- Zach McCloud 5tcks 1sack 1.5TFL
- Joe Jackson 5tcks 1sack 1.5TFL
- Shaquille Quarterman 5tcks
- Chad Thomas 4tcks .05TFL
- Trent Harris 3tcks 2sacks 2TFL's
- Dee Delaney 3tcks 1TFL
- Michael Pinckney 3tcks
- Amari Carter 3tcks
- Jonathan Garvin 2tcks 1sack 1TFL 1FF 1FR
- Malek Young 1INT
- Trajan Bandy 1INT 1TD

The best Defensive performance of the entire season! They DOMINATED!!! Touchdown Jesus looked completely overwhelmed & physically outmatched. They simply weren't big enough, strong enough, or fast enough to keep up with the absolute beating we handed them!

The Defensive Line played lights out as usual, RJ McIntosh is literally playing himself into a 1st round Dradt grade. He's the most disruptive DT in the entire nation! He's in the backfield on every **** play! Causing constant pressure & getting penetration against the run. There isn't a single Offensive lineman that can block him head up.

Major 9 played lights out as well, he was in the backfield a lot & made several plays that won't show up on the stat sheet. JJack is the best pure pass rusher in the ACC, absolute beast! Trent had a great game, his get off is unbelievable, he's lightning quick off the snap!

Garvin has been making a lot of big plays over the last 3 weeks, BP vs UNC, strip sack vs VA Tech & another strip vs ND. I keep saying it, he has NBA prototype wingspan, those long arms are impossible to block once he uses his quickness to get around the OT. Coach Kool has really done a great job in developing him. What's scary is he's a just baby & he's already turning into bonafide monster!

That was a team that was supposed to have multiple 1st round draft picks on their OL & they got straight mauled for the whole game! That supposed vaunted Left side of their OL was supposed to be the best in the country LOL, they couldn't move the **** ball whenever they ran to that side.

Our DL absolutely brutalized their Offense, Brandon Bigbush supposed to be one of the best running QB's in the nation & he got the **** beat out'em so bad he had to get benched with 5:56 left in the 2nd quarter! The great Josh Adams didn't even finish the game! He was held to just 40yds rushing LOL

Brandon Bigpuss was SHOOK! The boy looked scared! I don't think he's ever seen Defense that athletic & that fast before. We whooped his *** all game. He apparently was hurt vs Wake Forest but still played through it, but he simply couldn't handle Miami's physicality, we were just too **** rough for him.

The LB's played great, sound, physical & fast, assignment football. They look like they completely understand what Diaz wants them to do & they're trusting their eyes & just making plays. Shaq was great in pass coverage & Pinckney helped out in the run game.

McCloud played his best game of the season by far. You can tell over the last 2 weeks he's finally getting it all to click, he's not thinking out there he's just trusting his eyes & playing fast. Loved that Diaz had him spying on Wimbush, kept him completely contained in the run game.

This is the best Secondary we've had since the early 2000's. They've really stepped up all year & answered every challenge.

Quan has been the best Safety of the year, kid has developed into a true beast & is leader of this Defense. He's the Defensive MVP for the season & has placed himself into Canes history amongst the greats. What's crazy is, he'll be even better next year! That's what he does he just continuously improves & that's exactly what you need in your locker room to build Championships.

Bandy got us our first Defensive TD on the season, MAJOR PROPS TO @toolbox FOR CALLING IT!
https://www.canesinsight.com/thread/canes/125764?highlight=Bandy+pick

The kid has been nothing short of phenomenal, he's the Freshman of the year no doubt, hit the ground running since the day he stepped foot on campus & he wasn't even an EE. He's only a True Freshman, but he's already playing himself into a Legendary Cane!

Malek Young balled out as well, finally got the pick & could've had 2. He's one of the top 2 CB's in the ACC imo (Young/Mullen) & both of them went to Coco Creek. Don't care about the TD, against a 6'4 TE he **** near picked that one too lol.

Great to see Delaney back out there fully healthy, he's a big physical Corner & was being used as a Blitzer which is where I think he's best at. Delaney, Mike Jack, Young & Bandy is **** good CB group, Coach Rumph got them boys locking everything down out there.

Idk if yall noticed but my boy Amari Carter is really starting to come on back there. Played a **** good game, after following it up with the Sack vs Va Tech. After Red got hurt, you see who they put there as the replacement. That's back to back games he's been playing significant snaps in big moments, just saying don't sleep.

Overall, this was the best game we've played all year hands down! This is Miami Football, fast, physical & ****ed off!

Did yall peep the celebrations by Berrios & Chad Thomas? The hands behind the back was basically saying, here's yall "Convicts vs Catholics" bull**** right here! That was nothing but a pure **** You to Notre Lame & their trash *** fans.

El Jefe has this Defense playing at a Championship level, this is the best we've looked since the 00-01. Coach Richt has really been killing it, I know we've all been critical of his play calling at times, but he's the best **** Coach we've had in decades!

We finally did it, Coastal Champs! We've also gotten revenge on every team that beat us last year... But there's one more head we need on our wall, time to go Big game hunting in Charlotte on 12/2, a Tiger skin rug would look nice in the Winter.

Clemson gave us our worst loss in school history, we haven't forgotten & we will be out for blood!

Revenge tour isn't complete until 12/2. We match up really well against Clemson.

The offense deserves major props.

The wrinkles in the run game are the difference in us looking like a complete team.

QB draws
Midline read option
Jet sweeps
Jet sweep counters
Wildcat

Searles, Brown, Richt, the OL, and Homer have stepped up and made us a legit playoff contender now.

Rosier is a fvckin winner. A god **** **** of a winner. Love that kid. His TD run was all heart.

Richt is walking around with that **** eating grin on his face especially In interviews.

It’s like he knows something the rest of CFB doesn’t like we are badass and we are only going to get better..It’s like when the chick from Espn said something about the defensive TD and he responded that the offense had two also....

Guy knows what’s happening in the Gables.

4th and 9 call by Rciht was legendary.

richt will not be passive like at Georgia. He would be a fool if he is, and don't think he is a fool. This is his program, not some boosters who play armchair qb. I really believe he will win multiple titles with us. I would not be surprised if we make noise in January.

What the he!! happened to Aha..maan? He is playing for PI flags ..instead of going for the ball???
Idk what's been going on with Ahmmon, but it's all mental & not physical imo.

I think he'll be fine though, he just needs to get some opportunities early to get him going.

I'm not counting him out at all, he's too talented to be held down. I think he'll show up big time in the ACC title game against Clemson.

It ain't over, he's just having a bit of a down year, but the talent hasn't gone anywhere, he'll get right in due time.

The balls thrown to him were way off target, he never had a chance. On top of that, his downfield blocking is NFLish.

Great stuff as always LCE! I can't help but think some of you don't deserve this happiness though lol. The people always ****ting on Coach Richt and his offense, the ones who have been on Diaz neck from the time he was hired until just a couple weeks ago, and the ones who hate on countless players that take longer to develop then others, always ready for them to be cut or transfer. The fair weather, negative fans don't deserve this but shout out to the ones who have remained solid.

Nice write up.

I would only add a couple other thoughts:

1. You could see by the end of the first quarter, from Kelly to Wimbush to the fans in the stands, they were shook. We took that team's soul last night. Not just the team but the fan's and everyone in South Bend.

2. It was over when: reports of Brian Kelly's bus getting a window broken out by a thrown bottle.

When they started going for it on 4th down in the FIRST HALF.....

- ND fans were right all along. Their rushing attack is incomparable to GT.
- I remember saying we would be just fine at RB without Walton. (Whether Walton returns or not our backfield is going to be something serious
- Our team speed and disciplined on defense from filling gaps, containing the outside, plugging the middle, and the overall sideline to sideline speed was better then the WVU and VT game.
- We gonna have to pray Norton and RJ stays.

Trick Daddy said it best: ".. ain't no way we gone let you score.. you gone leave here sore 'cause yo *** to slow, and you ain't going pro."

One of the worst days of my Cane life.... and one of the best! We shook loose of Alfred and that idiot and his pathetic excuse for a defense!!!!!!!! and now you see the result!

It wasn't just a cleansing from Al Golden, but from many, many years of cheap hires. We absolutely needed what happened to us that day so the BOT would finally get off their butts and hire a real staff. We needed Shalala gone. We needed that Adidas deal. We needed a renovated stadium. We needed to get an IPF started.

God how things have changed in such a short time.

Agree with you on that point, he & Rosier seem to not be all the way in rhythm. When he Zigs the other Zags & vice versa.

Also agree with your take on his blocking, the long TD that Herndon scored vs Va Tech was primarily due to Ahmmon's downfield blocking.

That's why I'm not counting him out at all, because despite the fact he's frustrated with not getting the ball he's still laying it on the line for his teammates & helping us win.

Like I said, I think he'll show up big time vs Clemson next month, he's just too talented to not have a break out game.

Do do you guys remember some weeks ago morons like Coach Macho saying Manny was clueless and did not know hot to coach? Lot of people were agreeing with **** like that.
