My personal Miami revenge list(Long)

Wow, just when I thought I had seen it all, I am graced with a Mandy Patinkin from The Princess Bride "meme" which perfectly encapsulates the message your sending. Well done sir. Now can you create one using mawwiage?

I feel that. (Well, I wish I did). The only thing that ever made me consider for a second becoming a male cheerleader was the concept of hoisting those beauties up over my head so that I could gaze into the chasms underneath those skirts. Then I learned that they wore underwear thingies underneath those skirts and my male cheerleading dreams evaporated instantaneously.

I acknowledge that this comment is probably missing several pauses and is pretty cringey too. Enjoy brethren!
Wasn't there a UF male cheerleader caught sniffing his hand after holding up one of their cheerleaders?

Only team I want to destroy is Indiana. Mainly because the announcers were falling over themselves about Mendoza being rejected from Miami and playing/winning the NC @ HRS. IU also gained a **** ton of bandwagon fans on this run. The way they acted on social media, you would think had been a traditional powerhouse team. FVCK IU!

Now that Miami is fully loaded, here are a few teams I personally want retribution for.

Clemson: I can’t stand Yaba Dabo Sweeney. The guy is as fake as an $11 bill. The 58-0 bludgeoning still sticks in my craw, even though it got rid of Chumly tie wearing Al Golden and brought us the wonderful CMR. I would love for Miami to go into Clemson this upcoming season and give them a beating to end his coaching career for good.

Alabama. Things don’t look so hot now that everyone can pay does it Bama? Another program I have had disdain for every since the Bear Bryant days. That beating in the ’93 Sugar Bowl bothers me still and it always will until Miami gives them a baseball bat to the grapefruits. I really wish this could have been a playoff matchup this past season as I can see Miami doing to them what Indiana did.

LSU. When this team is winning, it’s hard to shut any of these snuff-dipping tobacco-chewing clowns up here in LA. Like the ’93 Sugar Bowl, that ’05 Peach Bowl knaws at me every now and again. I know Miami pummeled them in Baton Rouge 44-3 in the ’88 season, but I personally want that stupid, arrogant look smacked off Lane Kiffin’s very punchable face.

USC. This may be hard for some to believe, but loved this program in the 70’s. I mean Ronnie Lott, Dennis Smith, Marcus Allen, Anthony Munoz. I have nothing (at least not at the moment) against USC, I just don’t care for Lincoln Riley. I good punch in the mouth to him and the Trojans would put a little smile on my face.

North Carolina. These people should not be on this list as they have not done anything of significance in football. Yet Miami has lost to them what 4 straight times? Another team that I hope Miami makes say “I QUIT” this upcoming season. On a side note, I don’t really hate Bellicheck due to his constant love and praise for ER#20. Go watch NFL’s greatest 100 players to see what I am talking about. I think ER#20 is the son Bill wishes he had.
Give me a win over lsu in the playoff and I’m going to jail!

GA Tech, they avoided us last year and will avoid us again unless we meet for the ACC title. Would like to see someone else we haven't played in a while like Penn St or Michigan. Wish the Gators or Gamecocks were on the schedule this year for another SEC win lol

I don't agree "they avoided us" (it's the ACC schedule), but GT is the team. Our HC is 0-2 against them and they cost us dearly in 2024. We'll need to wait at least another year for the payback, though.

I will think on the "mawwiage" meme for a minute. It is one of the funnier parts of the movie, but what gets overlooked is how deep William Goldman's story is. I know that Princess Bride is, ostensibly, a movie that should appeal to kids first, but there are just layers and layers of adult-skewing plot points and themes. Remember, this is the guy who wrote Marathon Man and Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid and adapted All the President's Men.

But, yes, the Inigo Montoya meme is one that perfectly encapsulates how revenge can never fully be realized and satisfied.

We can never be made whole.

Deep Thoughts, by TOC Handey...

But seriously, William Goldman is probably a Top 5 or 10 all-time American writer. He's definitely one of my all-time favorites, along with Ernest Hemingway and Hunter S. Thompson and John Updike and F. Scott Fitzgerald. I wish J.D. Salinger had published more. And that John Steinbeck wrote just a tiny bit more clearly and concisely.

I love East of Eden. One of my all-time favorites.

James Michener because I love historical fiction

Charles Portis author of True Grit

And we are definitely off the rails. Tis the off season.

No Aldus Huxley or George Orwell? Oh wait, they're not Amewican. How about Mark Twain? Stephen King or John Steinbeck? Or, to keep it real, how about Larry Flynt and Chester the Molester of Hustler fame? Edgar Allen Poe? Toni Morrison?

I'm not much of a Hunter S. Thompson guy. I lump him together with Charles Bukowski under the genre of drunken scribe. Salinger was pretty good, even if Catcher in the Rye is one of the most overrated novellas of all time. Had Mark David Chapman not made such a big deal out of it, I don't think it's popularity in modern times would've happened. You can finna drag me now.

This thread should be named 'dishonorable mention of other teams I personally hate' because any hate list that doesn't include backwards usf, the gator, osu, and notre****ingdame is suspect.
