Don’t get me wrong, I would still be as down as I am today without this, but I was 41 yards away from $92k. FP stands for free play, which means I could use it on whatever but costs me nothing if I lose. Ugh.

I don’t know anything about betting. I don’t do it. There is another thread here with someone else who had $75k riding and the advise was to hedge the bet at this point.

Were you able to/not able to do that by betting on Indiana to at least win something decent?

The worst part about IU making it was the betting line they put on this game...it made a hedge almost impossible. If I wanted to say at least win $10,000 I would have had to bet $32,500 to do so because IU was an over 3-1 favorite. Sometimes people get this confused. If you bet the $32,500 and win, you would get that back plus the $10,000...the hedge wasnt worth it

Yeah, that makes sense.

Tough one man. Sorry!

Someone had the Parlay of Browns rookie TE scoring first season TD and Miami winning chip for like 50k on 100 wager.. Insane

Yep, awful. Much smaller potential payout than your deal, I bet it right after ND so it was just 200 to win 5200. At that time thought I’d end up hedging anyway since I figured if we made it that far we’d be favored in the title game. Then by the time I checked Indiana moneyline it was already -350, had to let it ride/ check live lines during the game.

O hedged my bet with Miami ATS and I won half the initial CFB champ winner of +15000.

Don't bet with your heart.

I think everyone knew if Miami wasn't going to win it would be close, and here we are.
