Manny Diaz is a average DC at best. He made bad substitutions during the game. Also our defense tackles are not very good. Willis is ok but after him is big drop off. Also all three LBs need to stay for there senior year. They don’t look like NFL players. Honestly really never have. JJ is our best player and it’s not close. Starters need to play more point blank. Blades is better than Dean.

Richt need to hire OC ASAP. Also I wonder what credentials his son has to coach QBs. Just curious. Malik has reached his potential man. So many bad decisions tonight. We will win no more than 9 ball games this year. So I say if that’s our ceiling for the year might as well let one of the young pups get some burn.

Deejay is a better RB than Homer. Homer lack vision and always get taking down by the first tackler.

Kicker and punter are not very good.

I don't agree with you on Diaz. As they've usually done the past couple of years, the defense made adjustments at HT and played a lot better in the 2nd half. Not sure if you noticed, but there was a huge drop in talent from our 1's to our 2's, particularly on the defensive side of the ball.

IF Willis can play the entire season as he did tonight, he'll have a great shot to be a 1st round pick next year. Dude was a beast tonight!

Agree with a lot of the other stuff you said though. Homer had 2 carries at the half, while our QB had more than double that.

New OC. Jon Richt & Searles need to be let go. Manny needs to step up his recruiting, hiring Patkhe did not help!
 
Diaz is ok. Flawed. Has some strengths. Not what folks hope, but not the real problem for Miami.

Unfortunately we have so many problem that they all get overshadowed by each other.
We have problems at OC,DC,ST.
Diaz is below ok....MAY not be Dorito and I’m not even sure that’s the case anymore.

Agree, but I’ll give Bubba another game or two. He nailed his first FG, and the miss was tipped. He also nailed both PATs.

I agree with this. Diaz could have done a lot better tonight, but the reality is this: you can’t expect a defense to keep points off the board when you give the opposing team’s offense a short field six times. Nor can you blame the defense for getting tired when they’re on the field all game because our offense sucks so bad that we go three and out 80% of the time.

yeah willis was absolutely dominant. Played the best ball of any dt we have had in over 10 years that game. He had 4 tackles for Loss

First of all watch yo mouth. Like the said he was Ok. I was at the game. He played well at times but also fell to get off blocks. **** a lot of the runs were right up the middle. Some of that was the other DTs not doing there job. Also LBs not filling lanes. I’m not ready to crown Willis yet. I need more.

Agree with all. I hold some judgement from homer though because I think its debilitating basically to have the ball handed to him on that RPO bullsH8T where he has no momentum going forward and is surround because the line was getting pushed back. It looked like we were running draws all **** night.
 
But hard to do ANYTHING when your D1 SCHOLARSHIP QB struggles to complete 2 passes in a row.

Last thing. Let’s stop changing the uniform. I’m tired of players worrying about the uniforms, just go play and bust somebody ***.
 
You can actually see the ball as soon as it leaves his hands going the wrong way. Malik must have hands like the guy from the burger king commercial. It's like he doesn't grip the ball well
 
Our D: Stuff/no gain on 1st. 3 yard loss on 2nd. 16 yard gash on 3rd. Rinse, repeat, with a few knuckhead offside, targeting, holding etc penalties on say 4th and 2 sprinkled in.

Losing Bandy really hurt. (****, losing Malek Young really hurt.) Our freshmen secondary guys need to beat out Knowles and Dean for playing time in the next couple weeks if they're as good as we think they are.
