Beck hasn’t thrown a ball yet in practice. Not much to say.Watched the whole thing. Great interview! Amazing story and character.
I'm a little surprised there was no conversation about Beck. Curious how the offense compares Ward to what they know if Beck so far.
I figured Pepe was a lock here because of Francis successPepe has to see what this guy is doing and come here.
Nope..Pepe has to see what this guy is doing and come here.
Yeah, well, I used to walk 15 miles to school, uphill both ways, in the snow…. In Florida.Tafuna’s greatest. We walk to practice and back home everyday. At least 2-5 miles a day for 80% of the kids. We would cut half of our slippers off and use it for knee pads and kids would share mouth pieces lmaooo. I knew these 2 young men would be great. You could see it when they were freshmen and sophomores. So many talented kids that never make it off for one reason or another. 684 all day![]()

Was more asking about chemistry, attitude, leadership, off field stuff etc. This is the 2nd straight one year transfer QB coming in and it would be neat to hear Mauigoa compare how Beck has come in compared to Ward.Beck hasn’t thrown a ball yet in practice. Not much to say.
My mom used to drop me off. But that’s college for you…Tafuna’s greatest. We walk to practice and back home everyday. At least 2-5 miles a day for 80% of the kids. USC to Samoans is as good as it gets for many within the Culture. You gotta think that these student athletes parents were USC fans during the times of Polamalu, Reggie Bush, Taylor Mays etc. For Samoans many of them are USC, UCLA, UW, Wazzu fans at the collegiate level. For the NFL its 49ers, Raiders, Steelers, Chargers. NBA its Lakers lmao. Parents have a sense of nostalgia and cultural roots that tie them to these schools. It is the ultimate sign of validation in our culture where many of us (Samoans) come from nothing but blue collar/military backgrounds if all else fails. So, whenever USC, Bama, and those schools come calling it carries a little more weight. Of course, we The U, had the Rock lmao, but many Samoans don’t claim him cuz he don’t speak Samoanas someone tied into the community
is the loss of Joe having a part of us missing on Pepe?
or is the USC bag just that big that money >>>> all
