My interview with Carson Beck

EXCELLENT interview. I particularly loved his story about the elbow injury.

Carson’s national image is tainted by social media and noise coming out of Athens. I find him to be an incredibly knowledgeable, articulate and talented young man. He should do well here.

Go ‘Canes!

He broke down the injury situation well. Can tell he was ****ed off about them basically lying to him about the injury situation. Basically seemed like regardless what happened he wasn't returning to UGA. It was either Draft or transfer.
yes. it sure sounded different than the narrative out of UGA at that time. They claimed they didn't know he went for another opinion. Claimed they didn't know he was in Cali. He was on the sidelines for their playoff game, though.

There were a few times you could tell he would say more about a topic, expand a story, if he could but did the right thing and just kept it to himself.

Big props to @DMoney for allowing Carson to tell his story without interruption and it seemed Carson was glad to be able to tell that story in an intimate, non threatening environment. The more I’ve heard from Carson, the more impressed I am with him.

A 50-minute interview gives you a much better sense of who someone is than the usual athlete-speak shorts. Carson seems confident, mature and serious. Just what we need with attitude and leadership.

I think because most of us know you D or feel like we know you, and how down to earth you are, the talent you have for this can get a bit overlooked.

I’m so glad to see canesinsight doing what it’s doing now, as I’ve been here since day -1. You and @Peter Ariz have become the standard in Miami hurricanes reporting. Glad to call you a friend and thank you for all you do.

Now let’s go ****** 9-3!!

I will be watching him on TV from my living room as he occupies one of the 3 or 4 chairs in NYC in December whilst Mario cries with joy from 3 rows back. PIN IT!!

Slowly starting to become a fan of Beck. Wasn’t sure how good he was but the more I hear from him the more he seems down to earth.

No wonder his twins situation didn’t work out. He seems to want to play football and is serious about it. That was a concern which seems to be unwarranted because of all the off the field stuff.

I hope he proves me wrong and is sitting in New York at the end of the year because Miami won the ACC and is in the playoffs.

I’m excited for Sunday as he will need to be the leader and take this team to victory.
