My Final Coaching Prediction

I think after an exhaustive search, where we swing and miss on a couple and figure this out the hard way.. I think we end up with the Butch and Mario combo we've all wanted... Just too many people want a "Miami" guy and we can hire 2. I personally think the chances of Butch getting hire by himself than with Mario as 1-2 punch are lower.. Mario won't get another P5 job.. He knows his only way getting this job is by paying his dues becoming an HC somewhere else (UCF) or the HCIW at Miami.. Those 2 together would spark and unite the fan base.. With all the things Mario brings to the table and what the great Butch brings we can get this thing rolling soon.. Practices will be intense, competitive, recruiting will be on lockdown with butch's eye for talent and mario's understanding of modern recruiting.. I thinks it's a perfect match.. Will they collide at times yes there alpha's but They know what it takes from a players and coaches perspective.. I think it's a grand slam hire if you bring them both in as a 1-2 punch.. No source just intuition.. Because I don't think they're gunna sway anyone from TCU, MSU or whoever to leave there top 5-10 teams or the NFL to come rebuild this even though it's a fast rebuild...

these "end up with Butch" comments are bullsh*t. makes him sound like some afterthought table scraps.

Butch Davis is the HOME RUN HIRE and the RIGHT guy to be the head coach.

with all the things that Mario brings to the table

LIKE WHAT ? Mario Bob has NO skills as a head coach and never will.

I agree on Cristobal coming back as OL and Associate HC, but it will be under Schiano not Davis.

What is your time frame for hiring Butch? Might take these butholes 2 years or so.
 
These are the goons who swung for the hills and rejected Leach and Patterson and triumphantly hired Radio when Coker was ousted.

Well now that the OP has shared his long awaited perspective and insight the committee can make their decision. Where were you two weeks ago?

I would've hired Butch now if I were AD... Mario needs to get seasoning plus we need mario's recruiting down here he's got relationships with every one down here he's a + on the staff he would be the best recruiter besides Butch

Schiano might not get interviewed the guy has no traction nobody wants him as DC yes.. Less chance than Mario to get the job
