So watching with my dad. 4th and 14 happens. We're both ****ed wondering how we could possibly leave them that open. As soon as they go to video review he looks at me and says "if they're short, take the timeout, tell the D to let them score, hope for the best a minute and a timeout left..." At first I'm thinking no way. But legit came around once I realized we were in a no-win situation by trying to stop them and/or burning both timeouts there. The ONLY way it makes sense is if FSU had no timeouts left, which they had 2...

Mystified by that decision and the fact that my father, who sometimes forgets what time we're meeting to see a movie, saw it and called it out almost immediately.

Not taking anything away from your dad cause I’m sure he’s a very smart man but anyone that’s ever watched, played or heard of the game of football knew that letting them score and having a minute or so for the offense to score was the right call…

Oh trust me, he has some memory issues but still smart as ****. Caught me by surprise because he's usually pretty quiet about the "coaching" stuff. But he calls it out, I look and realize FSU has TWO timeouts left at the 0.5 yard line? In that scenario you have to let them score. You just have to.

Manny’s ego simply thought his pathetic defense could get the goal line stand. Even after giving up 4th and 14th.
Listen, stopping them on four straight inside the one yard line would have been an all-time, legendary memory in this rivalry. But statistically you're more likely to meet and marry a Victoria's Secret model then stop them in that scenario.

It took Manny 9 seconds of game time to realize he should take a TO and 30 minutes of real time to realize he should take a TO. I was screaming to take a TO as soon as the 4th down was converted and it took Manny the review plus 9 seconds to realize he should take a TO. What a ******* idiot.

Manny continues to believe in himself so of course he prob expected the defense to hold them on some miracle goal line stand, that he could puff his chest about

Manny was confident the defense was going to stop, I don’t blame him.
