Show me the national titles those guys have been a part of in their coaching careers. Butch built the greatest team ever, and he coached under JJ. He knows championships. Hiring someone with potential is what we did with Golden. We need proven results.

Herman was the oc for osu when they won with a third string qb he is undefeated and has a 5star DT committed to the university of Houston.....its Herman or bust

Well that odes it! Wait, we he the OC for Urban's two other NC's? Maybe we should look for them. Doesn't matter he has a 5*DT commit. That's it! Forget Butch Davis. I'm not sure he every had 5* commit. Couple NFL HOF types DTs and more than I can remember 1st round DT draft picks. But no 5* DT commits. Herman was OC for an offense that it clearly doesn't matter who the QB is. That's it. He's our man. Wait, didn't Butch recruit and develop some QB who only lost two games(one by cheating) in three years, going through two entire seasons undefeated, playing in back to back NC games, winning one and getting cheated out of the other? Yeah, I seem to remember that. But forgetaboutit! We got Herman, he's own man. He don't need no QB at all. He uses THE FORCE to move the ball. Yeap, we have to have Herman.

Butch = Joe Gibbs. His time has passed. Herman is the guy. If Canes get butch and Herman goes to Vtech you guys will be crying for another 6 years.

I like butch I have said that a 1,000 times BUT ( AGE ) ( CONSERVATIVE ) I watched him at THE U and I am from Ohio near Cincy and got to watch him a lot ( he cost Cleveland a lot of games of being conservative ) Go back and look at all of his games he keeps the score close. I remember we was up big against ECU I believe. At half he pulled a lot of starters and than tried to bring them back into the 4th quarter (LOSS ) same kind of crap he did at Cleveland....... With the weak Coastal that would not help us with the playoffs ........... HE GETS UP AND THEN GOES INTO SAFE MODE ( fact ) great for picking talent HORRIBLE GAME DAY COACH
 
Another problem I have with Butch ( he up and went ) I know everybody go ahead and blame THE U ....BLAH BLAH BLAH ......they didn't do him right ( OH WAIT ) Butch is on record saying he regrets leaving THE U and wishes he would have stayed ( fact ) and some of you will still try to work around it ( HE FLAT SAID I REGRET LEAVING )
