It wont be the problem of not having options.

It depends on how much money we are willing to spend in order to sign the neccessary staff.
 
You guys are getting ahead of yourselves. Having the money to hire the right guy comes second. Manny has to be want to get rid of Baker first. I really, REALLY hope I'm wrong but I don't see him doing it baring a late season collapse, which could still happen. I don't even care if we get Muschamp after that because just him pulling the trigger would be a huge win in signaling that he actually does value winning more than being Mr. Nice Guy.
 
So now we want fired coaches from other teams?
Sounds more like the coaching fraternity a lot of people complain about.
Strong, Shannon, Muschamp they all haven't been great in their last few jobs why should we want them. Name recognition?
 
My best guess is South Carolina will get Brent Venables as it’s next head coach. I don’t think they make this move now/this season unless they know he’s coming. He’s the perfect person for the area. It’s a home run for the program, the state and the conference. Boom will get the same money wherever he decides to land. He’s a 2/2.5 a year DC and a two year rental. He’ll go where he feels comfortable, likes the area/weather and can win big. I also would be surprised, but not shocked, if Texas hired him as it’s head coach in a short inexpensive deal. They love him there and he has their trust and respect.
 
I for one think Lashlee is going to be a successful head coach.

He has the personality for it and I think with the right staff he would be successful.

Hope he stays with us for another year or two.

Kiffin put 48 on Saban in his third game at a new school during COVID...... that being said I dont want muschump here. Either dIAZ needs to call plays or he needs to hire a real DC.....and LB coach....and safety coach and db coach.

dIAZ needs to quit being like richt and golden....fire your "boys" if you want to go to the next level. You can bring in all the talent you want but the defense players are not developing like they should
