Last time I checked 2021 - 2007 equals 14 years. It's been a long time since those national championships bud. Heck, we weren't that far from being relevent then. Radio was our coach. How did Muschamp do at Texas, not how much was he paid. I consider that to be a silly thing to put on a resume.

Manny isn’t a more qualified and respected DC than Muschamp but we can agree to disagree - but in the Words of Ric Flair - whether you like it or not... learn to love it (maybe?):

I don’t know if they’re his protégés, per se, or not, but there’s information out there that T Rob wants nothing to do with.

I seriously doubt if you asked them they would consider themselves to have ever been his protégés.
