Mario can be the right guy for the job and also have sucked tonight. Both can be true. We’ve all seen Saban have bad days.

Every team takes on the personality of the HC. Tonight was no different. Mario was petrified. TVD was petrified. Gattis was petrified to call a play longer than 5 yards. Everyone else followed.

Steele was the exception. 17 points to a ranked opponent on the road should always be enough in the modern game.

Tonight was a major blown opportunity and we did it to ourselves by being scared of a wounded animal. As the season plays out this loss will get worse when ATM is 5-7 and we are there wondering how we let ourselves drop that.

Next opportunity is in November against Clemson and who knows if we will even matter by that point.

We had all 3 TOS in the first half and let them milk the clock to run out of the half.

He kicked a FG deep inside the red zone when we really needed a TD.

There were multiple head scratching moments that left me wondering what was wrong with him. He was scared.
