Mullen and Butch

I truly think the Richt stuff is smoke and mirrors, this race appears to be between Butch and Mullen. If James hires Schiano, he has a short shelf life left at UM. The board knows the past 3 hires have screwed this program so the importance of this decision is paramount. I still want Butch completely but would be happy as **** if we got Mullen. As someone said earlier today, he was the Tom Herman before Tom Herman.

And he isn't very successful so why take him

My thoughts exactly. There was a leak about Butch days ago. Dince then all this smoke. Its gotta Butch

Maybe it is Butch. It wouldn't be that unusual to interview the rest of the candidates before actually making the decision.

Yes maybe it will be Butch but not because he's number 1 choice but because 1 or 2 others said no. It's Wednesday afternoon now. They've done the other interviews.

We don't know that. He may well be the #1 choice despite all the rumors we read. Just saying that even if he was #1 going in, you still conduct the other interviews that you set up. We can choose to believe any of the 50 contradictory rumors we choose to believe. We will never really know how this went down.

Trust me, I've tried to get information out of people within the program and nobody has heard anything. Blake is keeping this pretty tight lipped and I doubt boosters would leak any of this out.
