Not tough to argue when Otto is in the NFL hall of fame.

Mckinnie was great at the U but sucked in the pros.

Leon Searcy was better than Mckinnie.

I said college career, not pro. Though we are splitting hairs, I'll go with the guy who never allowed a single sack in his entire career at Miami.

I dont know why we are even having this debate. They are all greats. I made my initial post in response to you making it seem like mckinnie sucks. He was an absolute goliath at miami.

You obviously didn't watch his Super Bowl year with the Ravens. In the playoffs, he was in beast mode. Total domination. He was the missing link that the Ravens needed during that final stretch with Ray and Ed.

What dont you understand.

Mckinnie dominated at the U mostly because he was a 6-8 330 nimble freak. He couldnt just hully the pros so he stunk it up.

Hes not the guy you want coaching technique. See below for a tidbit

To those arguing that we shouldn't have McKinnie help the oline; are you insinuating that he could make it worse??

**** the guy just says he wants to volunteer his time and try to help in some way on his own dime and automatically starts getting trashed. Not only that but he is a Cane from the GOAT. Show some fking respect. They are feeling just as bad as we are right now and wanting to try to help sure as **** isnt going to hurt anything!
 
If he simultaneously tosses Bicht and Flake James into Biscayne Bay, I'm all for McKinnie coming here to help the team.
 
When did being a great pro player become a pre-req for coaching at any level...You'll find more average to below average players across the ranks of good to great coaches than not

Players that suck dont start for every team they play on..this dude has a hard on for Mckinnie which is wierd. He could be Jonathan Ogden..who gives a f about Jonathan Ogden ...he legit has less relavence than Mckinnie and he is a hall of famer.
