MSU defense!!!

Even after that abortion last night, Michigan State is still #10 in total defense (Miami is #11). They're 14th in rushing defense (Miami is 31st). They're 23rd in passing defense (Miami is 10th). They're 40th in scoring defense (Miami is 27th).

and they dont recruit anywhere near the athletes we do....

between 2010 - 2013 they have recruited one guy on the DLine that was a 4* or higher (according to rivals). The 2014 freshman class was finally able to get 3 highly touted guys on the line.

This horse**** about them having an NFL line is a tribute to their coaches and their ability to develop talent, something our staff lacks.

What the Golden cheerleaders dont get is that the key to a good staff is that they can do more with less. Golden does less with more.

Occassionally, MSU will go up against another team that is more talented and is also well coached and they end up looking like the less talented team. That doesnt mean Narduzzi cant coach Defense and it doesnt mean he isnt a **** of a lot better than what we have here.

Football is about matchups. OSwho where winning the matchup's Saturday night. That doesn't make Narduzzi a bad D coach. They will play again in the conference title game.

The same porsters attempting to say Narduzzi or Gary Patterson for that matter are bad coaches that have been backing golden for 3.5 are nothing but clueless on so many levels it isn't funny and their agenda is obvious. We have covered this ground many many times. They are fans of Golden's, not the U.

The main matchup MSU lost to Taint was in the recruiting game. Taint is loaded with 4 and 5 stars, and MSU is mostly 2 and 3 stars. And Irvin Meyers also develops his talent.

Great staff loaded with 5 stars should beat a great staff loaded with 3 stars. That's the way it's supposed to work. I don't see why anyone would be surprised that Taint beat MSU.

Exactly. People on here acting like narduzzi is working with top flight talent. What happened when they played osu last year with their hiesman contender qb?

Urban is a good coach and he changed his gameplan for msu and it clearly caught narduzzi and co. Off guard. It is not an indictment on his ability to coach because he lost to osu coached by a national champion with a team full of five stars.

Hey, Michigan State isn't playing with two stars. Nor was that excuse ever raised when Coach N was being declared a defensive genius. Totally baffled to see MSU safeties covering the slot, lined up 12-15 yards down field. Brought back memories of our early season D.

I think the MSU defense is nice. I think the TCU defense is nice. I also think that MSu plays ZERO teams with an offensive pulse. With the exception of Oregon and OSU both of whom laid it on them. I think most of the SEC teams suck at offense. Hence why a guy like Gus Malzahn can go in to that conference and dominate. And why all of a sudden TAMU is an offensive powerhouse. Its because that conference has some great defenses and ****** offenses. TCU, however plays some fairly good offenses and generally shuts them down. They also do not recruit NEARLY as good as the likes of Texas, OKS, Ok. But the coaches can really coach.

As for UM, we are possibly heading in the right direction. I do not think any of us even know what that looks like, hence why some have just given up, and some think every 3 game stretch is the one that turns the tide to bringing us back to dominance. I think the fans on this board would run off a Richt or Stoops before they could ever have the careers they have had. As a fan base our window is so small that if you are not seeing what you personally view as results then your done with the staff. Heck, Farchie had the nerve to say he was done with this staff after the Maryland game. That means the guy had made up his mind after one game!

All in all, I was/am willing to let Ag finish the season and then determine the staffs fate after we have seen it as a whole. Beating FSU and finishing up strong will go a long way. But I like AG enough to want to see him succeed. Now he just has to...lol

I actually attend TCU games. Do you? One season worth a **** and now we need their defense? D'ornorfrio didn't even get 45 put on him by FSU last year. A much better offense than Baylor. We need a new defense but not that one. For that matter no defense from the noD12
