moving forward, do we give Jacurri the rest of the snaps?

Think you have to start Jacurri. Him being at the helm is the only chance we have at a respectable run game. With how beat up the OL is asking TVD to drop back and pass 40 times @ Clemson is a death wish. If JB shows out give him the keys for the rest of the season if not start TVD in the finale vs Pitt. But a major reason our run game has struggled is that TVD and Garcia are 0 threat to do anything with their feet. But I believe making the defense have to gear up to stop the run of a backfield of JB, Parrish Rooster and Don making his return is our best bet. With our Oline right now a lot of plays with TVD right now put us in 2nd 12-15 where JB has the ability to escape that pressure and turn it into 2nd and 6-7 and give us a chance to keep the chains moving. If we can’t run the ball vs Clemson it will get very ugly very early.

JB once he takes this opportunity to his heart he maybe unstoppable his play and work habits may demand it.
A leader brings others with them , Zi see these players wanting to help JB and that raises there game.
I’ve seen it before it’s contagious and others are brought alone with leaders like JB.
I keep thinking of his interview after the game he spoke of others never about himself even his grandparents and what they did in sacrifice to keep him playing.
This FIRE BURNS with intensity of PASSION.

FEEL MY PASSION

This team feels JB PASSION , we are very dangerous the rest of the was, did you see ROOSTERS game how it exploded THAT is an example of bringing others with you as a leader.

WOW!!

All that from one game!!!

I think it moved...

Maybe Jacurri has a Josh Allen metamorphosis in the offseason throwing the ball. The kid definitely has a strong arm, but his accuracy is a$$ right now. If it doesn't improve the Canes aren't going to win many games with him against any team with a pulse. Plus, he won't last a full season with this QB keeper heavy playcalling.

I would love the Canes making a bowl game to get the young guys more reps. That being said, I don't see a chance against Clemson or Pitt with Brown starting. (Please prove me wrong Jacurri). I just don't see a +4 turnover margin in either of those games.

we all know he is raw, but part of his development will be about the off-season instruction he gets, working on his craft, and also getting snaps in live situations. This will be part of the process. I can live with it for the rest of the 22 season

Yes, despite some terribly uneducated fans who think good programs don't play freshmen Qbs. Smdh.

This made me tingle. You should write Harlequin novels, but about football for men.

"All the players felt JBs throbbing passion. They knew it was dangerous, but he had brought them to the verge of ecstasy. There was no turning back. It was irresistible. JB reached between his Center's legs and cradled the football. He sidestepped a defender that was visibly salivating at the idea of wrapping his powerful arms around him. He pitched his leather ball to the left, and Rooster caught it in stride. Then, Iike a fire burning with the intensity of a 1000 suns, Rooster suddenly EXPLODED out of the backfield. It had been years, maybe decades, since the players had soaked in so much juice. One by one each player turned his head and looked at their new new trigger man. Brown winked slyly at each offensive player and tenderly whispered, 'What can Brown do for you.'"

EPIC 😂😂😂 LMAO .

One of those throbbing paper backs yes got me good.

Maybe it’s just my skepticism. I hope he develops as a passer drastically down the road
It's completely unfair to judge a kid that should be redshirting this year.

Because he's thrown into action, people now have expectations that they shouldn't.

Jacurri needs time to develop regardless of playing or not. Because Mario has chosen to play him, we have to live the mistakes and growing pains.

Even for Garcia. He's young. He's only played a handful of games. That shouldn’t determine his entire future as a QB that so many fans like to do.

Jacurri has earned the opportunity.

Our fans need to support all of our players.

can't lie... that got me hot... and I dont mean the room temperature

A TVD that was making poor decisions that is immobile vs Brown that may make poor decisions but is mobile and adds another dimension to offense... I think that's a no-brainer
