Seems we've been getting killed here the last 2 weeks with nickel getting there late, bad angle, or even getting blocked by a receiver.

What are some solutions that Guidry can employ?

I don't know other than more attention and hustle. There were several times I could tell the motion guy was going to eat us up, even before the ball was snapped.
 
Risky but you could try:

CB1: OJ Frederique
CB2: DPJ

Slot Corner: Meesh

Backups at Corner: Diyoni Hill, Jadais richard (ew)

Safeties: Jaden Harris and Zaquan or Markeith

Taking Meesh out of the safety position could hurt or could make zaquan or markeith shine
 
pass it off, rather than carry it across the formation ... but it leads to opportunities for communication busts ... losing brown hurt ... we're building depth tho, hopefully it pays off
 
I mentioned that a few times in the game day thread. USF slot wr was able to get 145, most of Drones 189 came from motioning a receiver and capitalizing on Miami's inability to get across the formation in time or making a clean exchange. That’s going to hurt against a team like Louisville, or against any coordinator with a brain.
 
I’d give Stafford a chance. I mean he can’t be any worse than Richard right? Also give Popo more snaps.
 
Play a third linebacker, but not sure if we have anyone that can cover like that.

I know Malik Bryant can against the run and when he's close to the line of scrimmage. But not sure if he's dropping back and covering the flat like that, but its worth a shot. He's got a nose for the ball.

Zaquan in run down and Markeith in passing downs. It works.

Markeith Williams need to put in weight, he’s always in position but gets ragged doll.
