Look at the the 12:40 mark and how just the motion of travis homer draws multiple defenders and get them flowing to his direction freeing up some space and allows malik to score here off of the misdirection. Richt MUST implement this more in his plays. It’s no reason for Miami not do this more often. It works plain and simple...

A lot of richts offensive plays would work better if he had this more in his play calling... it simply gets the defense to think of another area to defend and can get them out of place. You can’t just always athlete someone especially with our overall deficiencies on the oline. You have to scheme and the little things like this matter period and would improve our offense especially on 3rd and short/goaline situations. Other wise if it wasn't there they could just lock in and make no false steps and just flow to the ball like teams have been doing to us which is partly why our 3rd down percentages and all of that is bad....

Just hope we see some new wrinkles to improve our efficiency in 3rd down in addition to goal line situations

He was throwing **** at the wall and seeing what sticks by that point.

Has Homer actually taken one snap from the pistol? Before he motions up next to Rosier for the RPO?

I don't we are ever really in a "pistol". They usually just line him up behind Rosier so the defense can't get a feel for the direction of the play pre-snap and then he quickly goes to the side he should be on and they snap the ball. Probably should try the pistol if nothing better than the defense has to be prepared to defend the run to either side equally
