I was at the game (I'm a Tulane alum). Amazing game, and amazizng atmosphere.
I definitely don't think he's overpaid. He's probably the best offensive mind in football, however, he needs to fire his SC immediately. I was shocked he brought him over in the first place.Wondering if Lincoln Riley is a terrific QB whisper and offensive guru, but an over-paid head coach. He's produced 3 Heisman Trophy QBs, plus fine-tuned Jalen Hurts, and won a bunch of games. But has he won anything of significance?
He should have asked for the "5th down" handicap Tulane once gave us. It might have helped him.Wondering if Lincoln Riley is a terrific QB whisper and offensive guru, but an over-paid head coach. Kurt Hester. That guy is a 1% in his field.
I'm fine with Feld for another 1-2 years. see where things go and how they play out.
But if Hester is open to S. Beach I'd make him the highest paid in his field. (He is a Tulane alum I believe though).
He takes 3 stars and helps them fulfill their potential. His background has LSU Baseball with Bertman, Manning Passing Academy, La Tech, Tulane, and a few other facilities.
From what I have heard he is intense but very calm compared to most of these guys and brilliant. Maybe some of the S&C guys would know but articles say he is very sprint/speed based in the way he trains.
We have one already
Nah, Miami sucked on D tooIt's like USC and UM are mirror opposites.
No D versus No O.
Put the two teams together - you'd have a half-azzed football team.
Obviously, a terrific offensive mind, but the head coach has oversight of everything, including the defense, and ultimately wins and losses. Might be the highest-paid coach in college football. So, other than overseeing a helluva offense and developing QBs, what has he won?I definitely don't think he's overpaid. Agree. After watching Georgia and Michigan give up 41 and 51 points respectively, it’s not a huge shock to see USC give up 46 points in their bowl game. These games turn into shootouts pretty often and you don’t want to be the team that brings the proverbial knife to one.

Especially when teams have a few weeks to prepare. After watching Georgia and Michigan give up 41 and 51 points respectively, it’s not a huge shock to see USC give up 46 points in their bowl game.
