Jon Rothstein has Miami at 39 before the portal opens. Two ways to look at this. One, pointless because we have no idea what any team will look like. Two, he has Miami ranked 39 with the players on the roster if the season started today. A starting 5 of Henderson, Allen, Gaskins, Altunas and Malovec. He thinks highly of the actual players who will get playing time, and I assume if Miami gets good players in the portal, they'll be highly ranked.

I strongly believe we will be a preseason top 25 team to start next season. UNC will get a bunch of hype with the Malone hire, but we should be fairly solidly entrenched as a top 4 team in the ACC along with UVA and Duke.

It’s pointless and cynical to do these rankings the day the portal opens; it’s also dangerous and meaningful at the same time knowing these type of 🐂 💩 rankings could affect the analytical modeling and preseason rankings etc
