Most satisfying or memorable Miami Florida Game?

Tough for me to go against 02 at the swamp because I was there with my pops. Miami in control, but UF about to make it interesting when Mo Sykes makes one of the all-time great momentum shifting plays and takes it to the house on a 98 yard pick with half the defense running behind him. Canes go on to blow Florida out. McGahee running through mid-90s Dallas Cowboys sized holes all night.

Yeah, that 2003 game was something else.

Most satisfying game though? I think the 2001 Sugar Bowl where we tore Steve Spurrier a new ******* in the bowl game. Little fwaggot thought he was done with us when he canceled the yearly rivarly because he was too butthurt about getting whooped by us.

Fact is, he has never beaten us as a head coach. Not as the head coach at Florida, not as the head coach at South Carolina.
And he never will!

The Comeback. Didn't have access to a TV at the time and had to follow the game through radio.

Man ...

For you kids out there, following a great game on radio somehow is more exciting than actually seeing it, especially a nail biter.
It's edge of your seat stuff, that's for sure.

Remember the OB at the 2003 game. What a rollercoaster.

We were coming off winning like 36 of 37 games. Early on we thought it’d be more of the same but then by halftime, the crowd was in shock. Almost confused. But then Brock went shotgun.

2013 Because my daughter was conceived at the motel afterwards.

2001 Because I took a leak on their equipment truck after the game and have a pic of it.

2003 Because well everyone here knows.

Semper Canes!!!

2003 - A friend of mine was a gator fan and kept leaving messages on my phone as the gators built up a 33-10 lead. The next day we met up to watch the Bucs game and he was oddly quiet. I pointed at him when I first saw him. He just bowed his head in shame and bought the first pitcher of beer. Brock Berlin being a former gator made the win even sweeter.

2002 - 1st regular season game between the two teams since 1987. Of course Miami has to go to Gainesville first. Game was over by half halftime and sealed by Mo Sike’s 98-yard pick six. A 41-16 win that could’ve been worse had Dorsey not thrown four interceptions, two in the Gator end zone.

2000 - Butch Davis beat the snot out of Steve Superior in Sugar Bowl. A consolation prize for not getting to play Oklahoma in the national title game. A bit of a street fight rumble one of the night before the game is a nice added bonus.

2024 - Miami walks into Gainesville and beat the Gators again by halftime. You knew Cam was the real deal when he lead an easy opening drive for a touchdown to McCormick and a 7-0 lead. Cam followed up with a laser shot to X for a TD and amazing highlight rollout and 35-40 yard TD strike to Horton or George in the back of the end zone. A legend was born.

2002- Night game in Gainesville. That was a special night, especially the Sikes 100 yard pick 6.

2000 Sugar Bowl- I knew our Canes were the best team in the country again. New Orleans is even more fun on weekends like that.

2003- Epic comeback in the Orange Bowl. Hester to start things up. The OB erupts.

Did not attend these 2 but were great to watch as a young kid: 84in Tampa and 86 in Gainesville-Stubbs had like 3-4 sacks in that game.

I’ve enjoyed each and every one of the W’s when we beat these arrogant ********. But 3 games stand out to me as the most memorable.

But if I had to rank them in order ,The Comeback game stands out the most for me as #1 in 2003

The 1981 game when Miller kicked the 55 yard bomb game winning FG with 40 seconds left and having the kick bounce off the up right and through the goal post to win I had got to be a close second.

A close #3 has to be The Bourbon St. Brawl game back in 2001. That game was just special on so many levels. I just love beating the gators and finding out about the brawl and how our guys handled their business by whipping their asses on the streets in the French Qtr. and then whoopin that *** on the field was about as good as it gets for me.
