Great post, OP. Fact is I've still got to be coached up on this issue. I expect gross ineptitude. Colossal miscalculations. Mind numbing lack of situational awareness. I expect to come away thinking Miami has a systemic issue, because as much as I have personally screamed the opposite, that's all we've known for the last decade plus. DECADE PLUS. That won't be fixed by near misses, close calls or incredible efforts that don't yield signatures. Is it Richt's fault? Not in the least. It's Miami's fault. And it'll take awhile to shake.

But shook it shall be, soon enough.

Why? You care about UM enough to sign up for a website to talk about the team with random strangers but are stunned that people have an interest in the players that will make up that team? Players that will have a direct impact on how successful it is?

Wait until you find out that fans of NFL teams watch the draft. That'll really blow your hair back.

I always find it funny when guys freak out about the guy their NFL team drafted or passed on. Who knows which of these guys are going to be good. In many cases they have seen a few highlights of guys.
