Most Draft picks in the last 5 years

Goes to show how bad coaching has been.

Lamar Miller is a perfect example for me personally. He looks 2× better in the pros than what I remember of him in college. There is a LB too that didnt do much at Miami but is a beast in the pros.
Miller was a beast at Miami, just didn’t see much of him. Redshirted his first year, was productive as a platoon back in which we had Damien berry, mike James etc . Then had a good junior year and left

I know he was a beast. I remember his run against OSU. The mismanagement of miller further proves my point of bad coaching.

Who is this LB?

Don’t you have to factor in what round those players were drafted?

Poor coaching is definitely to blame but maybe our talent isn’t matching our expectations. If we want to win the ACC and National Championships then I would assume draft placement matters.

Draft placement is not the end all be all, Joe jackson went round 5 but was one of 7 active players with 24 sacks the last 3 years. Jaquan Johnson played like the best overall safety in the last 2 years yet was selected in the 6th round. With that being said we do need to start pumping out more high end draft picks as we only have 5 in the first 2 rounds in the last 5 years

You remember poorly or just don't know anything about history.

In 2011, Lamar Miller ran for 1,272 yards which is the 4th best single season in school history. He was so "mismanaged" that he could go pro after his R-Sophomore season.
