Seems like we are just begging to hold onto kids. No big names that were in on to the end. I love recruiting and this is just plain old boring

Our class is already stacked and it's football season cmon man.

Add to the fact were only allowed to hand out tickets to 1 game a yr right now yeah its gonna be kinda slow.

Recruiting: QB N’Kosi Perry commits to Miami Hurricanes
2015 season, 2017 football recruiting, Football, Recruiting.

The Hurricanes’ quarterback position is set for the next few seasons with commit Jack Allison planning to join Brad Kaaya in 2016.

N’Kosi Perry decided he wants to be next in line.

Perry, a class of 2017 quarterback at Ocala-Vanguard High, committed to UM on Saturday. The 6-foot-3, 170-pound three-star recruit has shown a strong arm and excellent mobility in the pocket.

Perry is rated by 247Sports as the 13th-best dual-threat quarterback in the class.

He committed to UM over an offer from Virginia Tech. Arizona is also interested.

According to Rivals, Perry had 14 passing touchdowns and 10 on the ground last season and has 13 passing touchdowns and six on the ground through five games this year. He will visit UM for its Oct. 24 game against Clemson.

ESPN wrote that Perry, whom it ranks No. 292 in the 2017 class, possesses a good build and “the athleticism to be more than a pocket passer for the Hurricanes. He does a very good job of buying time in the pocket with his feet, as well as making throws on the move and under duress.”

With Perry in the fold, Miami has 11 commits in the 2017 class, which is rated No. 2 nationally by 247Sports. All commits are from Florida. The class is headlined by four-star running back Robert Burns (Miami-Gulliver Prep), offensive tackle Navaughn Donaldson (Miami Central) and linebacker Tyler Dunning (Fort Lauderdale-St. Thomas Aquinas).

Patience is a virtue and one that Nate Craig-Myers (6’2”, 205, Tampa Catholic) extols in his high profile recruitment.

The nations top wide receiver recruit was committed to Auburn University until this past May when he opened back up his recruitment with the explanation of wanting to give other schools a chance to recruit him.

That has the potential to sound C0CKY but Craig-Myers comes off as anything but. Understanding that he is highly sought after by offensive coordinators all over the country, the Tampa native is taking his time, getting a feel for all of the schools and then choosing the best fit for himself. Being one of the most wanted high school prospects in the country means that, even while Craig-Myers is taking things slow, schools are banging down his door hoping to get noticed. Waiting patiently and biding their time though are the college Football recruiters and Nate is taking notice.

The University of Miami Hurricanes are contacting Nate “heavily.”

And we currently have the our best recruiting class in years

no were still missing a lot of pieces at key positions. last year's class was better in the trenches. seems like we've neglected recruiting OL and DL until the end

could be worst. **** Fsu has had horrible recruiting stretch lately and their top de is about to decommit in janarius Robinson...

Really hard to be down on this recruiting cycle seeing as how it's regarded as the best UM class in years. Well, if it sticks.

Signing day used to be exciting

Now it just feels like a chore

You mean thanks to Twitter, 247 Crystal Ball, Social Media in general, and bloggers/journalists constantly interviewing 17 year olds like that are NFL superstars?

Preach on! I'm so sick of the star recruits who hold a public event to announce their "commitments" and the fact that they are going to "Shock the world!" Never to be heard from again.

Hey, Keith Bryant, how's it going?

Wait till we **** the bed on the field, then we will get an announcement for a new commitment or 2, lol, to deflect from the crap he's putting on the field! That's the way Al works.

We weren't going to bring in a lot of OLinemen this maybe after taking 6 last year.
We need two DTs and we have Willis coming in addition to the DEs we bringing in.

willis is a DE in this scheme so i wouldn't count him as a DT. and we lost our starting left tackle before the season started and nobody has been consistent in his place. we have a guard playing out of position there. hoping KC can fully recover and take that position and then darling can replace gall. but we should still address that spot until someone holds the position

Yea too bad we dont have any big recruits to commit so everybody can complain how they wont stick or "He Gone" for months. Besides 2016 was majority of the way full last year. Now is where u wait for some big names.
