I remember how fooled we were by Goldens slick talk, how we all fell for it hook line and sinker. It's like he almost hypnotized an entire fanbase with his rhetoric and message. Crazy how that happens, even when the results were right in front of our face before he was even hired.

it was magnified due to our desperation to win and how poorly Blandito spoke.

UVA lost 4 games that year. One of the losses was to Wyoming by a score of 23-3. Yes, the 07 Cavs lost by 20 to Wyoming. Wyoming finished 5-7 while playing in the MWC.

2 weeks before the last OB game, UVA lost to NC State. Which finished the year 5-7. Just like Wyoming.

The Cavs finished the year #27 in also receiving votes. And I'm sure that rating was inflated by their rout over the Canes.

This is something people don't take into account about just how bad that loss was. It's not like this was some great team we were facing. Unlike last year's Clemson game.
