moss has 99 pass attempts in the last two games

I think Moten, Blay, and whoever we rotate to inside have a big day. With so much focus on the outside guys I think the guys inside will get a lot of pressure. Might not show in the stat line but I could see them forcing Moss into some bad choices.

I want big games from Blay Moten and Scott. Their OL will mug Bain and Mesidor 25 times and they’ll call it once or twice.

Read o louisville board they are using 2 qbs against us. No nothing about this second qb
That would be a shock because they haven’t had a quarterback besides Moss attempt a pass since week 1

Against P5 competition, Carson Beck has a higher yards/att than Miller Moss. And Beck is not really throwing the ball downfield (outside FSU). The reason he has so many pass attempts is because they dink and dunk down the field. Their strategy on offense is going to be getting the ball out of his hands fast because A) that's what they normally do and B) it'll attempt to limit the DL effectiveness. When Moss gets in trouble is when he needs more time. Every game I've watched it seems he has no time to throw on deep routes.

What seems to be effective against them is to bring pressure. You don't need to send multiple guys but continue to send pressure from different areas. It has messed up his timing. Then drop those guys back every now and then into the passing lanes. I think you can get Moss to throw some INTs. They want to get rid of the ball so fast that I don't think he's doing a lot of progressions. It's a one read offense mostly.
Just watched some of their game against uva.
Their entire offense is geared to make the pass rush irrelevant.
All their throws are less than 3 seconds and mostly to the open man in zone coverage screens or slants.

They have a good receiver in Bell but teams always cover him with a cushion out of fear/respect.

I Say we go press coverage and force him to make a read while trying to avoid the pass rush.

He hardly ever checks down. A lot of play action too. Their oline is horrible.

If their passing game is based on quick concepts and tape still shows their OL sucks, then they must be just horrible.

disrupt timing and squat on routes

I was going to write this in my prediction. Moss is inaccurate when pressured and he tends to sail the ball. If Bryce plays the passing lanes like Ed used to do then he'll have his chance. He also telegraphs some passes that UVA and Pitt weren't athletic enough to get to in time but Bryce may. If I'm Bryce I'm keying on Bell and shadowing him. The ball is going that way.
This could be a pick 6 game with the way Bryce returns the INTs

I think they try to run this week. Slow down the pass rush . Hopefully good Blay shows up
