I noticed the same thing and they actually visited the same week. Created a board to track Special Teams as Mario clearly isn't going to lose another ship due to poor special teams. We've overlooked this too long

We lost a national championship and a 6th ring due to special teams, so we'd better be tracking special teams recruits (scholarship or not). Mario is clearly not fooling around w/special teams this cycle.

This is an example of where I’ve always given credit. Regardless of x and o stuff, Mario’s a hardworking guy who cares and tries. He saw the lapse last season and it hasn’t gotten by him.

It may be his best quality, and he is brutally honest in how he addresses roster deficiencies. DBs cost us, so he makes it a recruiting/portal priority. STs was sub-standard, so he makes it a recruiting priority.
