More on Returning to Play (The Athletic interview with NCAA)

Again, not sure what relevance the status of summer school session has on whether the football team (or golf or basketball, swim team, etc, for that matter) can be on campus and practicing. Can you explain?

If campus isn't safe for summer school students, there wont be athletics. It's no different from fall. That's the bottom line as far as the ADs are concerned.

I can tell you the kids thought it was going to be a piece of cake in the beginning. Not turning out that way.. My son has tons of work, tests, etc. Worst is most professors require the camera to be on for the whole lecture and they check who's there... Getting my tuition dollars for sure....

I hear you. It wouldn't surprise me if it keeps up that registrations will start to decline.

I remember way back when my father was telling me that Edgerrin James showed up for fall practice and had 3% body fat because he'd worked out so hard to get ready. I hope we have a team full of that train of thought.

No they won’t unless it’s safe for everyone. They will follow the public health officials and orders from the governor.

If you open without those key players’ support, you might as well get ready for lawsuits if anyone dies.

Money talks and bs walks. Nothing is absolute when it comes to cash. I'm sure if you decided to sign up to go to school in person . Their is a chance the law suit won't stand.
